La-La Land Records has announced the third volume in the label’s Goldsmith at 20th series. The album features two classic scores from 20th Century Fox productions composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Chinatown, Planet of the Apes, Patton, Poltergeist): The Stripper directed by Franklin J. Schaffner and starring Joanne Woodward, Richard Beymer, Claire Trevor & Carol Lynley and 1974’s S*P*Y*S directed by Irvin Kershner and starring Elliott Gould & Donald Sutherland. The latter score is expanded with previously unreleased material. Also included as a bonus track is the premiere release of Goldsmith’s cue Pacer’s Farewell from the 1960 western Flaming Star starring Elvis Presley. The 2-CD set is limited to 2,000 copies and is now available to order in the label’s online store, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples.

The label has also announced a limited edition CD release of the soundtrack for the 2018 Transformers prequel Bumblebee directed by Travis Knight and starring Hailee Steinfeld featuring the film’s original music composed by Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, V for Vendetta, Kubo and the Two Strings). The album features the same content as the digital soundtrack released in 2018 by Paramount Music. Click here to order the CD, which is also limited to 2,000 copies.
