Jeff Cardoni has been hired to score the upcoming TV drama Full Circle. The 10 episode series marks the television debut of filmmaker and playwright Neil LaBute (Lakeview Terrace, In the Company of Men, Nurse Betty) and examines the human condition and relationships through a series of conversations between 11 people whose lives, unbeknownst to them, are intertwined. The show’s cast includes Tom Felton, Minka Kelly, Julian McMahon, David Boreanaz, Keke Palmer, Devon Gearhart, Billy Campbell, Kate Walsh, Cheyenne Jackson, Noah Silver, Ally Sheedy and Robin Weigert. Nick Hamm (The Hole, Godsend, Rogue) is executive producing the project for Momentum TV.

Benjamin Wallfisch to Score BBC’s ‘The Thirteenth Tale’
Benjamin Wallfisch has been tapped to score the BBC original movie The Thirteenth Tale. The film is based on Diane Setterfield’s novel of the same title and has been adapted for television by Academy Award-winning writer Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons, Atonement, The Quiet American). The drama is directed by James Kent (The White Queen, Inside Men) and stars Vanessa Redgrave, Olivia Colman, Alexandra Roach, Robert Pugh, Gordon Winter, Sophie Turner and Antonia Clarke. The movie follows a famous novelist with failing health who enlists an amateur biographer to hear her story and ghostwrite her autobiography. David Heyman (Harry Potter series, I Am Legend) and his mother Norma Heyman (Dangerous Liaisons, Mrs Henderson Present) are producing the project.
‘Revenge’ Soundtrack Details
Intrada Records will release a soundtrack album for the ABC hit drama Revenge. The album features selections from the show’s original score from the first two seasons composed by iZLER (Shameless, Natural Selection) who records his music weekly with a live orchestra. Revenge created by Mike Kelley stars Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe, Gabriel Mann, Henry Czerny and Ashley Madekwe. The second season will also be released this Tuesday on DVD and third season is set to premiere on September 29 and will every Sunday on ABC.
Michael Suby to Score The CW’s ‘The Originals’
Michael Suby is set to score the upcoming CW series The Originals. The show created by Julie Plec is a spin-off of the network’s hit series The Vampire Diaries and stars Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Daniella Pineda, Leah Pipes and Danielle Campbellas. The drama follows the Original family, the first existing vampires in the world that was first seen in the second season. Plec is executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios production with Leslie Morgenstein (Gossip Girl) and Gina Girolamo (The Lying Game). Suby whose previous credits include the feature The Butterfly Effect and ABC Family’s Kyle XY and Pretty Little Liars has scored all episodes of The Vampire Diaries and will also return to score the show’s fifth season this fall.
‘Luther’ Soundtrack Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack release for the BBC series Luther. The album features selections from the show’s original score of the first three seasons composed by Paul Englishby (An Education, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day), as well as songs featured in the series by artists including Massive Attack, Nina Simone, Emiliana Torrini, Marilyn Manson, The Heavy, Kasabian and Suede. The soundtrack will be released overseas on September 9, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release. Luther created by Neil Cross and executive produced by Phillippa Giles stars Idris Elba as near-genius detective John Luther. The BBC and BBC America co-production premiered in 2010. The third season of the series aired earlier this summer in the UK and is set to premiere in the US on September 3 on BBC America.
Dave Porter to Score Fox’s ‘Wayward Pines’
Dave Porter has been hired to score the upcoming event series Wayward Pines. The show is created by Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club, Runaway) and stars Matt Dillon, Shannyn Sossamon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Juliette Lewis, Toby Jones and Melissa Leo. The series follows a Secret Service agent Ethan Burke who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) is directing the pilot episode and is also executive producing the project with Hodge, Donald De Line (The Italian Job, Green Lantern) and Ashwin Rajan. Porter is best known for his score for AMC’s Breaking Bad.
‘NCIS: Benchmark’ Soundtrack Details
Artists’ Addiction Records will release a new soundtrack album for the CBS hit drama NCIS. The album, entitled NCIS: Benchmark, features new tracks from some of the show’s cast members including Michael Weatherly and Pauley Perrette, as well as songs by bands including the Neon Trees and The Boxer Rebellion. Also included is a version of the NCIS Theme composed the series’ composer Brian Kirk. The soundtrack will be released on September 24, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. CBS Records has previously released three different soundtracks for the procedural, including an album featuring Kirk’s score. NCIS is created by Donald P. Bellisario & Don McGill stars Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum, Sean Murray and Cote de Pablo. The tenth season of the series will be released on August 20 on DVD and the eleventh season is set to premiere on September 24 on CBS.
‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 2 Soundtrack Announced
Intrada Records has announced the details of a new soundtrack album for ABC’s hit series Once Upon a Time. The album features highlights from the original score from the show’s second season composed by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It, 42). The soundtrack is now available to order on Intrada’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring selections of Isham’s score for the first season. Once Upon a Time is created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz and stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla and Josh Dallas. The second season is also being released today, August 13, on Blu-ray and DVD and the third season is set to premiere on September 29, 2013 on ABC.
‘Arrow’ – Season 1 Soundtrack Details
WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the CW superhero series Arrow. The album features selections from the first season’s original score composed by Blake Neely (The Pacific, The Mentalist, Everwood). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 17, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. Arrow is a modern retelling of the story of the DC Comics character Green Arrow and stars Stephen Amell as the vigilante superhero who fights crime under his secret identity as Oliver Queen, a wealthy playboy and billionaire industrialist-turned-outspoken politician in Star City. Colin Donnell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne are co-starring in the show executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter. The show’s first season will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 17 and the second season is set to premiere on October 5 on The CW.

Premiering tonight is the new AMC drama Low Winter Sun created by Chris Mundy and starring Mark Strong, Lennie James, Erika Alexander, James Ransone, David Costabile, Sprague Grayden, Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Athena Karkanis. The show’s original score is composed by Tyler Bates (Dawn of the Dead, 300, Californication). The composer has also co-written the main titles song Hustlin’ In The Motor City with Nan Vernon, Chris Mundy and Bettye LaVette who also performs the song.
