The track written by Rodgers and Hammerstein for the 1950s musical Flower Drum Song is performed in the show by Sutton Foster + Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks. The song is now available to download on Amazon. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle. The drama is set in 1958 Manhattan and tells the story of Miriam “Midge” Maisel whose perfect life suddenly takes an unexpected turn.

George S. Clinton Scoring Disney Channel’s ‘Zombies’
George S. Clinton (Austin Powers series, Mortal Kombat, The Santa Clause 2) is composing the original score for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Zombies. The film is directed by Jeffrey Hornaday (Teen Beach Movie, Shout) and stars Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Trevor Tordjman, Kylee Russell and Carla Jeffery. The movie musical follows a semester at Seabrook High School in a suburban town whose students must learn to coexist with new transfer students from Zombietown. David Light & Joseph Raso (Seed) and Josh Cagan (The DUFF, Bandslam) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Light & Raso.

The album features the songs from the special performed by the project’s voice cast, including Kelly Clarkson, Ben Schwartz, Rachel Crow, Mark Whitten, Ana Ortiz, Ron Funches & more. Sony Classical to Release ‘The Crown’ Season 2 Soundtrack
Sony Classical will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Crown. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge) who received an Emmy Award nomination earlier this year for his work on the drama and Lorne Balfe (The Lego Batman Movie, Terminator Genisys, Genius, Home). Rob to Score Netflix’s & BBC’s ‘Troy: Fall of a City’
Rob (aka Robin Coudert) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix and BBC mini-series Troy: Fall of a City. The show is created by David Farr (The Night Manager, Hanna) and stars Louis Hunter, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Christian Schoombie, David Gysai, Lex King, Bella Dayne, David Threlfall and Frances O’Connor. The 8-parter retells the story of the 10 year old siege of Troy and focuses on the story’s origins: the judgement of Paris, his scandalous love affair with Helen and and the ill-starred prophecy surrounding his birth.
‘Happy Valley’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Manners McDade has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC crime drama Happy Valley. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first two seasons composed by Ben Foster (Torchwood, Thunderbirds Are Go, Noble). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 1, 2017 and will be available to download on Amazon. Happy Valley is created and written by Sally Wainwright and stars Sarah Lancashire, Steve Pemberton, Siobhan Finneran, George Costigan and Charlie Murphy. The series follows Yorkshire police sergeant Catherine Cawood as she pursues the man who assaulted her late daughter, unaware he is now part of a secret kidnapping plot.
Stuart Earl Scoring BBC’s ‘Ordeal by Innocence’
Stuart Earl is composing the music for the upcoming BBC mini-series Ordeal by Innocence. The drama is written by Sarah Phelps (The Casual Vacancy, The Crimson Field) based on Agatha Christie’s classic novel and stars Bill Nighy, Catherine Keener, Matthew Goode, Eleanor Tomlinson, Anthony Boyle, Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Crystal Clarke, Ella Purnell and Alice Eve. Sandra Goldbacher (Victoria, The Hour) is directing the 3-parter, which revolves around the murder of a wealthy philanthropist in 1954, and Roopesh Parekh (Poldark) is producing the series. Phelps is also executive producing the project with Karen Thrussell, Damien Timmer, Helen Ziegler, James Prichard, Basi Akpabio and Gaynor Holmes.
‘Tangled: The Series’ Soundtrack EP to Be Released
Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack EP for Disney’s Tangled: The Series. The EP features four original songs from the show written by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Enchanted) and featuring lyrics by Glenn Slater (Galavant), including the tracks Let Me Make You Proud performed by Jeremy Jordan (as Varian) and I’ve Got This by Mandy Moore (as Rapunzel) from tonight’s episode Queen for a Day. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 20 and will be available to download on Amazon. Tangled: The Series is developed by Shane Prigmore & Chris Sonnenburg based on Disney’s 2010 feature Tangled and features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Julie Bowen, Clancey Brown, Eden Espinosa, Jeff Ross, Richard Kind, Jeffrey Tambor and Paul F. Tompkin.
