Marvel Music and ABC Studios will release a soundtrack album for Marvel’s new Netflix original series The Punisher. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, John Wick, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead), including the composer’s main title theme. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 17 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Punisher is developed by Steve Lightfoot based on the Marvel Comic character and stars Jon Bernthal in the title role, alongside Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah, Deborah Ann Woll, Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze and Jaime Ray Newman.

Soundtrack for BBC’s & Starz’s ‘Howards End’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC and Starz limited series Howards End. The album features the show’s original music composed by Nico Muhly (The Reader, Kill Your Darlings, Margaret, Joshua). The soundtrack is already available digitally in the UK and will be released digitally in the U.S. on January 5 and physically on April 6. Forster novel and stars Hayley Atwell, Matthew Macfadyen, Julia Ormond, Philippa Coulthard, Joseph Quinn, Rosalind Eleazar, Tracey Ullman and Alex Lawther. The 4-parter explores the changing landscape of social and class divisions in turn of the century England through the prism of three families.
Murray Gold to Score Stephen Frears’ ‘A Very English Scandal’
Murray Gold has been tapped to score the upcoming BBC mini-series A Very English Scandal. The 3-parter is directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen, Philomena, Dangerous Liaisons, High Fidelity) and stars Hugh Grant, Ben Whishaw, Alex Jennings, Patricia Hodge, Monica Dolan, Adrian Scarborough, Jason Watkins, Eve Myles, Michele Dotrice and Blake Harrison. The drama tells the story of British politician Jeremy Thorpe who was accused of murdering his ex-lover and was forced to stand trial in 1979. Russell T. Davies who previously collaborated with Gold on such shows as Doctor Who and Torchwood wrote the script.

Premiering tomorrow, November 12, in the U.S. is the British comedy Ill Behaviour written by Sam Bain (Peep Show), directed by Steve Bendelack (Friday Night Dinner) and starring Chris Geere, Tom Riley and Lizzy Caplan. The mini-series’ original music is composed by Rael Jones (My Cousin Rachel, Suite Francaise, Harlots). The 6-parter follows a man who is determined to save his friend when he announces he is stopping chemotherapy for his cancer in favor of a more natural treatment. Premiering on Tuesday, November 13, is the Hulu original series Future Man created by Kyle Hunter & Ariel Shaffir, executive produced by Matt Tolmach, James Weaver, Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg and starring Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe, Derek Wilson, Ed Begley Jr. and Glenne Headly. Halli Cauthery (The East, Frankenstein, Turbo Fast) is composing the show’s original music. Jonathan Sadoff Scoring Amazon’s ‘Love You More’
Jonathan Sadoff has recently scored the Amazon comedy pilot Love You More. The show is created by Bobcat Goldthwait (God Bless America), Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City, 2 Broke Girls), Carolyn Strauss (Game of Thrones, Treme) & Bridget Everett who also stars in the series alongside Karen Pittman and Loni Anderson. The comedy revolves around a New York City cabaret sensation who works as a counselor at a group home for young adults with Down syndrome. King and Goldthwait are also executive producing the project for MPK Productions, Warner Bros. Television and Amazon Studios.
Ramin Djawadi to Score Amazon’s ‘Jack Ryan’ Series
Ramin Djawadi has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. The show is developed by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) & Graham Roland (Fringe) based on the Tom Clancy’s character and stars John Krasinksi in the title role, alongside Abbie Cornish, Peter Fonda, Timothy Hutton,Wendell Pierce, Dina Shihabi and Ali Suliman. The show centers on CIA agent Jack Ryan as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
NBC’s ‘A.P. Bio’ to Feature Music by Jeff Cardoni
Jeff Cardoni has been hired to score the upcoming NBC comedy A.P. Bio. The show is created by Mike O’Brien (Saturday Night Live) and stars Glenn Howerton, Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Aparna Brielle, Jacob McCarthy and Nick Peine. The series follows a philosophy scholar who loses out on his dream job and goes to work as a high school Advanced Placement Biology teacher and uses his students to get back at the people in his life who have wronged him. O.Brien is also executive producing the Universal Television production with Lorne Michaels (30 Rock, Wayne’s World), Seth Meyers, Andrew Singer and Michael Shoemaker.
Nicholas Britell to Score HBO’s ‘Succession’
Nicholas Britell is making his TV show scoring debut on the upcoming HBO original series Succession. The political drama is created by Jesse Armstrong (In the Loop, Four Lions) and stars Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Hiam Abbas, Alan Ruck, Rob Yang, Parker Sawvers, and Peter Friedman. The show is described as the saga of the Roys, a fictional American global-media family that is not only rich and powerful but also powerfully dysfunctional.
‘If You Give a Mouse a Cookie’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Amazon Content Services will release a soundtrack album for the new Amazon original series If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. The album features the original songs from the show’s first season written and performed by Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb. The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, November 7, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Loeb previously contributed a new song to last year’s holiday special If You Give a Mouse a Christmas Cookie. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is based on the books by Laura Numeroff (Dennis the Menace) & Felicia Bond and is executive produced by Numeroff, Bond and Ken Scarborough who also serves as head writer. The animated series follows the adventures of Mouse, Oliver, Moose, Pig, Cat, and Dog.

Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series SMILF created by Frankie Shaw who also stars in the comedy alongside Miguel Gomez, Rosie O’Donnell and Samara Weaving. The show’s original music is composed by Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, The Exorcist) is composing the show’s original music. Zoe Keating and Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, Star Trek: Discovery) also contributed additional music.
