Hollywood Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Central Park. The album features the songs from the first part of the show’s second season written by Kate Anderson & Elyssa Samsel (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure), as well as guest songwriters including They Might Be Giants, Rufus Wainwright, Tank & The Bangas, Regina Spektor, John Cameron Mitchell and Ingrid Michaelson. The Songs in the Key of Park (Vol. 1) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring the songs from Season 1, as well a multiples digital EPs and singles featuring the songs from each episode. Central Park is created by Loren Bouchard, Nora Smith & Josh Gad and stars Kristen Bell, Daveed Diggs, Gad himself, Tituss Burgess, Kathryn Hahn, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Leslie Odom Jr. and Stanley Tucci.

Soundtrack Album for BritBox’s & ITV’s ‘Professor T’ to Be Released
Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BritBox/ITV drama Professor T. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Hannes De Maeyer (Gangsta, The Racer, Torpedo, Rafaël, Black). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 20, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Professor T is developed by Matt Baker & Malin-Sarah Gozin based on the Belgian series of the same title created by Paul Piedfort and stars Ben Miller, Emma Naomi, Barney White, Andy Gathergood, Sarah Woodward, Juliet Aubrey and Frances de la Tour. The 6-part drama follows a genius Cambridge University criminologist who is obsessed with cleanliness, structure and order as he advises the police.

Premiering on Tuesday, August 3, is the documentary Pray Away directed by Kristine Stolakis and executive produced by Ryan Murphy. The film’s original music is composed by Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, What If…?, Underground, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, Step, Black Nativity) & Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Bird Karma, Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Regarding Susan Sontag, Don’t Look Deeper, Half the Picture). The movie, which follows a group of ex-leaders and a survivor of the so-called “conversion therapy” movement as they speak out about its harm to the LGBTQ+ community and its devastating persistence, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, August 5 is the French horror comedy Teddy written and directed by Ludovic & Zoran Boukherma and starring Anthony Bajon, Noémie Lvovsky and Christine Gautier. Amaury Chabauty (Vendeur) has composed the film’s original music. 22D Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in June when the movie opened in French theaters. ‘Schmigadoon!’ Episode 4 Soundtrack EP Released
Milan Records has released the fourth soundtrack for the Apple TV+ original series Schmigadoon! The 6-track EP features the original songs from the fourth episode of the show written by Cinco Paul (Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax), as well as two score cues composed by Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin,The Personal History of David Copperfield, Veep). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also listen to all tracks after the jump. Soundtrack Album for Disney Channel’s ‘Spin’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney Channel original movie Spin. The album features the film’s original songs written, produced and performed by Grammy Award winner Marius de Vries (Coda, Kick-Ass, Strange Magic, Easy Virtue, Sucker Punch). Fiora Cutler co-wrote several of the tracks. Also included are two cues from de Vries’ original score. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Spin is directed by Manjari Makijany and stars Abhay Deol, Meera Syal, Aryan Simhadri, Michael Bishop, Anna Cathcart, Jahbril Cook and Kerri Medders. The movie revolves around an Indian American teen who discovers her passion for creating DJ mixes that blend the rich textures of her South Asian culture and the world around her.

Soundtrack Album for Disney+’s ‘Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life’ to Be Relaesed
Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Vincent Artaud (Mr. Magoo, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Paprika, Lupin’s Tales, Hubert & Takako, Zig & Sharko). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 30 and will be available to stream/download here. Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life s executive produced by Marc du Pontavice and features the voices talent of Matthew Géczy, Kaycie Chase, Bill Farmer, David Gasman, Sylvain Caruso and Cindy Lee Delong. The Xilam Animation production follows the two titular tiny troublemakers in their perpetual pursuit of acorns and are joined by Pluto, Butch and other iconic Disney characters as they face down bullies great and small.
Rupert Gregson-Williams Scoring HBO Max’s ‘The Prince’
Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Crown, The Legend of Tarzan, Over the Hedge, Smallfoot) is the composer of the new HBO Max original series The Prince. The show is created by Gary Janetti (Will & Grace) who also stars as the fictionalized Prince George, alongside Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Alan Cumming as George’s butler Owen, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Frances de la Tour as Queen Elizabeth, Condola Rashad at Meghan Markle, Dan Stevens as Prince Charles, Iwan Rheon as Prince William and Sophie Turner as Princess Charlotte. The animated comedy centers on the imagined inner workings of the royal family through the eyes of the youngest heir to the throne.
Drum & Lace and Ian Hultquist to Score Amazon’s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ TV Series
Drum & Lace (The Gospel According to André, Good Girls, Deadly Illusions) and Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, Animals, Die in a Gunfight) have been tapped to score the upcoming Amazon original series I Know What You Did Last Summer. The show is based on the 1973 novel of the same title by Lois Duncan and stars Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ashley Moore, Ezekiel Goodman, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom and Bill Heck. The horror series is being described as a modern take of the 1997 film adaptation (scored by John Debney) and follows a group of teenagers who are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.
