The show is created by Attica & Tembi Locke and stars Zoe Saldaña, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Keith David, Danielle Deadwyler, Kellita Smith, Judith Scott, Lucia Sardo, Paride Benassai and Roberta Rigano. The romantic drama is based on Tembi Locke’s memoir of the same name and tells the story of an artist who finds romance with a chef in Italy and embarks on a life-changing journey of love, loss, resilience and hope across cultures and continents.

Adam Peters (Savages, Icarus, Snowden, The Yellow Birds) is scoring the new Apple TV+ original series Shantaram. The show is created by Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, The Punisher) & Eric Warren Singer (American Hustle, Top Gun: Maverick) based on the bestselling novel by Gregory David Roberts and stars Charlie Hunnam, Shubham Saraf, Elektra Kilbey, Luke Pasqualino, Fayssal Bazzi, Antonia Desplat, Alyy Khan, Vincent Perez, Sujaya Dasgupta, David Field, Alexander Siddig, Elham Ehsas, Gabrielle Scharnitzky, Rachel Kamath, Matthew Joseph and Shiv Palekar. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original event docuseries jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy. The album features the show’s original score composed by Live Footage (Topu lyo & Mike Thies) and CTZN CHANCE. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy directed by Clarence “Coodie” Simmons & Chike Ozah is a portrait of Kanye West’s experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist.
Volker Bertelmann (Hauschka) Scoring Netflix’s ‘Barbarians’ Season 2
Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Hotel Mumbai, Patrick Melrose, Adrift, The Old Guard) is the new composer of the German Netflix original series Barbarians (Barbaren). He has written the original music for the second season of the show created by Arne Nolting, Jan Martin Scharf & Andreas Heckmann and starring returning cast members Jeanne Goursaud, Laurence Rupp & David Schütter, as well as new additions Daniel Donskoy, Murathan Muslu, Cynthia Micas, Giovanni Carta, Katharina Heyer and Alessandro Fella. The new season of the historical drama takes place one year after the Varus Battle the Roman troops have returned to Germania and follows Ari as he is confronted with his Roman past once more.
‘The Red and the Black’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Music Box Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the French 1997 television event movie The Red and the Black (Le rouge et le noir) directed by Jean-Daniel Verhaeghe and starring Carole Bouquet, Kim Rossi Stuart, Judith Godreche, Bernard Verley, Claude Rich and Constanze Engelbrecht. The album features the original music from the period drama composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (The Tenant, Quest for Fire, Lord of the Flies, Barocco, Ghost Story, Pirates) and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and the Metro Voices Choir. Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for the French Netflix limited series Notre-Dame (Notre-Dame: La Part du Feu). The album features the show’s original score composed by Éric Demarsan (Le Circle Rouge, Army of Shadows, Romance, The Stone Council), as well as additional music by Guillaume Le Hénaff. The soundtrack will be released on October 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon or the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A digital version will be coming out on October 19 and will be available to stream/download here. Notre-Dame is created by Hervé Hadmar & Olivier Bocquet and stars Roschdy Zem, Caroline Proust, Megan Northam, Simon Abkarian, Alice Isaaz, Sandor Funtek, Marie Zabukovec and Frédéric Chau. The 6-part drama directed by Hadmar is inspired by true accounts from French firefighters and explores the impact of the 2019 fire of Notre-Dame on a diverse group of Parisians.
First Track from Sky’s ‘This England’ Soundtrack Released
Stranger Than Paradise Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the new Sky original drama This England. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Welcome to Brexit Britain written by the show’s composer David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Killing Eve, Out of Sight, Logan Lucky, No Sudden Move).
