Ariel Marx (Shiva Baby, A Friend of the Family, Candy, Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer, The Tale, Rebel Hearts) has been tapped to score the upcoming National Geographic limited series A Small Light. The show is developed by Joan Rater & Tony Phelan (Grey’s Anatomy, Fire Country) and stars Bel Powley, Joe Cole, Liev Schreiber, Amira Casar, Billie Boullet, Ashley Brooke, Eleanor Tomlinson, Andy Nyman, Caroline Catz, Sally Messham, Noah Taylor, Ian McElhinney, Nicholas Burns, Laurie Kynaston, Liza Sadovy and Sebastian Armesto. The 8-part drama tells the story of a 20-something secretary who didn’t hesitate when her boss, Otto Frank (father of Anne Frank), asked her to hide him and his family from the Nazis during World War II.

Soundtrack Album for Nickelodeon’s ‘Monster High’ Animated Series Released
Arts Music has released the first soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series Monster High. The album features the show’s theme song, which has previously been released as a digital single last fall, as well as seven additional songs from the animated comedy’s first season written by Stef Fink, Jason Gleed, Julia Piker, Sheléa, German Briseno and Hayden & Jayli Wilson. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Monster High is based on Mattel’s fashion doll franchise and features the voices Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Courtney Lin, Tony Revolori, Kausar Mohammed, Iris Menas, Valeria Rodriguez, Alexa Kahn, Alexander Polinsky, Debra Wilson, Ken Marino, Valeria Rodriquez, Felicia Day, Scott Menville and Cole Massie.
‘Gangs of Oslo’ Soundtrack Album Released
Tommy Tee (7X: This is Our Kids) has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian TV series Gangs of Oslo (Blodsbrødre). The album features selections of the composer’s original score from the show and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Gangs of Oslo is created and directed by Ole Endresen and stars Mohamed Youssef, Emir Zamwa, Per Kjerstad, Ishak Kaya, Janne Heltberg, and Ingvild Lakou. The crime drama follows a police officer who gets transferred from Oslo to a suburb in the town where he grew up and soon realizes that the leader of a criminal gang that he is tracking is his former childhood friend.
‘Mayfair Witches’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the AMC original series Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Will Bates (The Magicians, The Path, Away, I Origins, Unbelievable, The Looming Tower, I, Origins, Bliss) with ethereal vocal stylings by Maiah Manser. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 3 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download here. All3Media International has released a soundtrack album for the BBC unscripted competition series The Traitors. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sam Watts (The Sarah Jane Adventures, Wizards vs. Aliens). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download overseas. The drama, which takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race, will air every Wednesday on Syfy and will also be available to stream on Peacock.

The show is developed by Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted, Turner & Hooch) inspired by James Cameron’s 1994 feature of the same title (scored by Brad Fiedel) and stars Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga, Erica Hernandez, Mike O’Gorman, Omar Miller, Annabella Didion and Lucas Jaye.
