Simon Goff has composed the original music for the new BBC series The Gold. The show is written by Neil Forsyth (Guilt) and stars Hugh Bonneville, Jack Lowden, Dominic Cooper, Tom Cullen, Charlotte Spencer, Emun Elliott, Sean Harris, Ellora Torchia and Stefanie Martini. The 6-part drama tells the true story of the Brink’s-Mat robbery when six armed men broke into a security depot near London’s Heathrow Airport in 1983 and inadvertently stumbled across gold bullion worth £26m and the decades-long chain of events that followed.

Joseph Shirley Scoring ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3
Joseph Shirley has recently been scoring the third season of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series The Mandalorian. The composer has previously provided additional music to the first two seasons of the show as part of Ludwig Göransson’s team. While the full Season 3 music credits have not been confirmed yet, our understanding is that it will be similar to last year’s The Book of Boba Fett with Shirley being credited as the score composer and Göransson for providing the themes.

The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Joshua Mosley (Bernie the Dolphin, Tuscaloosa, Mass Effect: Paragon Lost). Also included are four songs produced by EL3VATORS, including the theme song (written by Joshua & Jordan Mosley), which has already been released as a digital single last month. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 3 by Netflix Music and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The album the special’s original music composed by Scott Michael Smith & Michael Dean Parsons (Sketchbook). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 3 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return is directed by David Gelb and explores the return of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to the screen, as well as Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to their classic roles for last year’s Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series.
Jeff Russo Scoring HBO Max’s ‘Love & Death’
Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, Legion) is composing the original score for the upcoming HBO Max limited series Love & Death. The show is developed by David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, The Practice, Big Little Lies) and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, Krysten Ritter, Patrick Fugit, Tom Pelphrey, Keir Gilchrist and Elizabeth Marvel. The 6-part drama is inspired by the book Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs and a collection of articles from Texas Monthly and centers on Texas housewife Candy Montgomery who murdered her friend from church with an axe in 1980.

Netflix Music has released the song Wild Dog from the Netflix original documentary series Gunther’s Millions. The new version of the track, which was first released in 1990 by Casablanca Records, is performed by Gunther Group and is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Gunther’s Millions is executive produced by Aurelien Leturgie & Emilie Dumay and centers on the world’s wealthiest pet. The 4-parter features interviews with Maurizio Mian who has built an empire on behalf of his canine boss and the rest of Gunther’s longtime associates in hopes of understanding the complicated truth behind the world’s richest dog.

Netflix Music has released a full soundtrack album for the streamer’s animated series Princess Power. The album features ten songs from the show’s first season written by Alana Da Fonseca, JD Rende & Kathryn Raio-Rende. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released the theme song as a digital single and four of the other tracks on a digital EP earlier this month. Princess Power is developed by Elise Allen based on the Princesses Wear Pants books by Savannah Guthrie & Allison Oppenheim and revolves around four princess friends of the Blueberry, Kiwi, Pineapple and Raspberry fruit kingdoms as they try to make their worlds a better place.
