Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) has composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix documentary series Life on Our Planet. The show is narrated by Morgan Freeman and chronicles the ongoing rise and fall of lives on Earth, from the cataclysmic events that reshape our ecosystems to the creatures that survived along the way. The 8-parter was produced in partnership with Industrial Light & Magic and uses the latest technology and science to bring long extinct creatures back to life.

Aaron May & David Ridley Scoring BBC’s ‘Boiling Point’ TV Series
Aaron May & David Ridley (Malpractice, Villain, Arsène Wenger: Invincible) are the composers of the new BBC drama Boiling Point. The showbased on the 2021 feature of the same title (scored by May & Ridley) is written by James Cummings and stars Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson, Ahmed Malek, Daniel Larkari, Hannah Walters, Stephen McMillan, Taz Skylar and Shaun Fagan. The 4-parter directed by Philip Barantini & Mounia Akl follows head chef Carly who is battling to forge a name for new London restaurant Point North alongside her old kitchen crew.
‘Infiltrated’ Soundtrack Album Released
Unkle Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series Infiltrated (Infiltré(e)). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Eric Neveux (The Attack, Zombillennium, Intimacy, SamSam, The Illegal, A Stork’s Journey). Nick Urata Scoring Nickelodeon’s ‘A Really Haunted Loud House’
Nick Urata (Paddington, Ruby Sparks, Crazy, Stupid, Love., I Love You Phillip Morris, Focus) is returning as the composer of the new Nickelodeon original movie A Really Haunted Loud House. The film is directed by Jonathan Judge (Punky Brewster) and stars Wolfgang Schaeffer, Brian Stepanek, Jolie Jenkins, Sophia Woodward, Eva Carlton, Catherine Bradley, Aubin Bradley, Annaka Fourneret, August Michael Peterson, Jahzir Bruno and Martin Fajardo. The family horror/adventure comedy based on Nickelodeon’s animated show The Loud House follows Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde as they decide between trick or treating or attending a party hosted by the cool new kid at school.

Danny Lux (Grey’s Anatomy, Manifest, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, Halloween: Resurrection) is composing the original music for the new NBC drama The Irrational. The show is created by Arika Lisanne Mittman (La Brea, Timeless) inspired by Dan Ariely’s 2008 book Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions and stars Jesse L. Martin, Maahra Hill, Molly Kunz, Travina Springer and Arash DeMaxi. The series revolves around a world-renowned professor of behavioral science as he lends his unique expertise on an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, corporations and law enforcement.

The show is created by Doug Miro (Narcos), Eric Newman (Children of Men), Carlo Bernard (The Great Wall) & Ingrid Escajeda (Silo) and stars Sofía Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Christian Tappan, Juliana Aidén Martinez and Martin Rodriguez. The crime drama is inspired by the life of Griselda Blanco who created one of the most profitable cartels in history and whose lethal blend of unsuspected savagery and charm helped her navigate between business and family, leading her to become widely known as “the Godmother.”

Craig DeLeon (Fatal Attraction, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Velma, End of the Road, Music, The Last Survivors) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix documentary series Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul. The show is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue, Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry) and tells the story of the controversial electronic cigarette company Juul which transformed from a Silicon Valley tech start-up run by two Stanford graduate students intent on making the world a better place into a multi-billion-dollar tobacco company that sparked an epidemic of lung disease and youth addiction.
