Movistar Sound has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish TV series Celeste. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lucas Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, The Quiet Ones, The Deliverance, Welcome to Eden, The Raven, Palm Trees in the Snow, Women in Blue, The Cold Light of Day). Celeste is created by Diego San José and stars Carmen Machi, Andrea Bayardo, Manolo Solo, Aixa Villagrán, Antonio Durán “Morris” and Clara Sans. The 6-part thriller follows a tax investigator on the cusp of early retirement who is lured into staying on the job for one last case: running down a Latin pop star who is rumored to be taking advantage of her status to evade paying dues.

Weekly TV Music Roundup (December 15, 2024)
Making its linear premiere tonight is the Showtime original series Dexter: Original Sin developed by Clyde Phillips and starring Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, Molly Brown, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, James Martinez, Reno Wilson, as well as Michael C. Hall as the voice of the inner monologue in Dexter Morgan’s head. The show’s original music is composed by Pat Irwin (Nurse Jackie, The Good Cop, Feed the Beast, But I’m a Cheerleader, Bored to Death) who previously scored 2021’s Dexter: New Blood. The prequel the original Dexter series (scored by Daniel Licht) is set in 1991 Miami and follows the title character as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. The show premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.
Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘Asia’ Announced
Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC natural history documentary series Asia. The album features the show’s original music composed by Jacob Shea (Seven Worlds One Planet, Planet Earth III, Blue Planet II) & Laurentia Editha (Island of the Sea Wolves, Alien Worlds, Growing Up Animal) for Bleeding Fingers Music. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically next Friday, December 20. The 2-CD version will be available to order as an import on Amazon within the next couple of days. Wesley Schultz’s Original Song ‘This Heart of Mine’ from ‘Virgin River’ Season 6 Released
Netflix Music has released the original song This Heart of Mine from the sixth season of the Netflix original series Virgin River The track written and performed by Wesley Schultz (of the folk rock band The Lumineers) is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Disney+ limited series Invisible. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Fernando Velázquez (The Impossible, A Monster Calls, The Orphanage, Hercules, Crimson Peak, Devil, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies). Invisible is based on the novel of the same name by Eloy Moreno and stars Eric Seijo, Aura Garrido, Diego Montejo, Liv Dobner, Miki Esparbé and Izan Fernández. The fantasy drama tells the story of a 12-year old boy who has suffered a terrible accident that has left him with severe post-traumatic stress disorder, when he finds out that has has gained the power of invisibility and his terrible nightmares that haunt him every night are linked to the monsters and the dragon that haunt him.
Gavin Brivik Scoring Max’s ‘The Pitt’
Gavin Brivik (How to Blow Up a Pipeline, Cam, The Seventh Day, Wild Indian, Minor Premise, Living Undocumented) is the composer of the upcoming Max original series The Pitt. The show is created by R. Scott Gemmill (ER, NCIS: Los Angeles) and stars Noah Wyle, Tracey Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Isa Briones, Taylor Dearden, Gerran Howell, Katherine LaNasa and Shabana Azeez. The 15-part drama explores the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America with each episode following an hour of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital emergency room’s chief attendant’s 15-hour shift.
‘La Palma’ Soundtrack Album Details
Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s Norwegian limited series La Palma. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Johannes Ringen (Troll, The Quake, Captain Fall, The Burning Sea, The Arctic Convoy, The Girl from Oslo). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 13 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon.
