Loma Vista Recordings has released the original song Hunter’s Moon from the slasher sequel Halloween Kills. The track, which plays over the movie’s end titles sequence, is performed by the Swedish rock band Ghost and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music sites. As previously reported, the film’s official soundtrack album featuring the original score by will be released on October 15 Sacred Bones Records. Halloween Kills written and directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Thomas Mann, Will Patton & Anthony Michael Hall will be released in theaters nationwide on the same day by Universal Pictures and will also be available to stream on Peacock.

Average Joes Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the western Old Henry. The album features the songs from the movie by artists such as Eddie Montgomery, Bryan Martin, Jeremy McComb, FieldHand, Grace Rembinski and Llyod Carter. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music platforms. Old Henry is written and directed by Potsy Ponciroli and stars Tim Blake Nelson, Scott Haze, Gavin Lewis, Stephen Dorff, Trace Adkins, Richard Speight Jr, Max Arciniega and Brad Carter. Shady Records & Interscope Records have released the original end titles song Last One Standing from the superhero movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The track is performed by Skylar Grey feat. Polo G, Mozzy & Eminem (who previous contributed the title track for 2018’s original Venom film) and co-written by themselves, Justin Franks (aka Frank E), James Lavigne and Daniel Majic. The album features the composer’s original score from the movie and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. What Breaks the Ice is written and directed by Rebecca Eskreis and stars Sofia Hublitz, Madelyn Cline, Lukas Gage, Joel Allen, Erik Jensen, Shakira Barrera, Catherine Curtin and Aimee Mullins. The album features the songs from the movie, including Christina Aguilera’s rendition of The Addams Family theme, tracks by Snoop Dogg & October London, Yoshi Flower, Rock Mafia & OPlus, Donna Missal and Dominic Lewis. Also included is Crazy Family by Megan Thee Stallion, Maluma & Rock Mafia (already available to stream/download as a digital single here). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 1 and is now available for pre-order here. The Addams Family 2 is directed by Greg Tiernan & Conrad Vernon and features the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nick Kroll, Wallace Shawn, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Snoop Dogg himself, Bette Midler and Bill Hader.
Mychael Danna, Shigeru Umebyashi & Gabriel Yared ‘Music in Film’ Series Albums Announced
Film Fest Ghent has announced the expanded editions of three of its earlier albums, featuring music by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote), Shigeru Umebayashi (In the Mood for Love, House of Flying Daggers, A Single Man) and Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain) respectively, reissuing them in the Music for Film album series. The three albums have been updated with newly recorded music in collaboration with the composers, and will be released during the 48th edition of Film Fest Ghent, which will take place from October 12-23. All music is performed by Brussels Philharmonic and Vlaams Radiokoor and conducted by Film Fest Ghent music director Dirk Brossé.

MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Adventures of a Mathematician. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz (Copying Beethoven, In Darkness, Quo Vadis, Aida?, Rosemary’s Baby, The Affair, Charlatan). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 1 and is now available for pre-order here. Adventures of a Mathematician is directed by Thor Klein and stars Joel Basman, Esther Garrel, Philippe Tlokinski, Sam Keeley, Fabian Kociecki, Ryan Gage and Sabin Tambrea. The movie tells the true story of Polish immigrant and mathematician Stan Ulam, who moved to the U.S. in the 1930s and dealt with the difficult losses of family and friends, all while helping to create the hydrogen bomb and the first computer.

Indie rock band Bruce Peninsula has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian drama Wildhood. The album features the film’s original music composed by the band’s vocalist/guitarist Neil Haverty (Avocado Toast the Series, Body and Bones). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Wildhood is written and directed by Bretten Hannam and stars Phillip Lewitski, Joshua Odjick, Avery Winters-Anthony and Michael Greyeyes. The movie follows a teenager who flees his abusive father and – with his half-brother – embarks on a journey where Link discovers his sexuality and rediscovers his Mi’kmaw heritage.

Denovali Records will release the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2017 crime drama November Criminals. The album features the film’s original music composed by David Norland (Anvil! The Story of Anvil, My Dinner with Hervé). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 15, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Lost Watching TV) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. November Criminals is directed by Sacha Gervasi and stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Ansel Elgort, Catherine Keener and David Strathairn. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish biographical drama Tigers. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonas Colstrup (The Square, In the Blood, President, The Shadow Play).
