The full details of the first two soundtrack albums for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series WandaVision have been revealed. The albums feature the original theme songs from the first two episodes written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez (Frozen, The Book of Mormon, Coco), as well as the original score from both episodes composed and conducted by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Frozen, The Muppets, The Hangover). Both soundtracks will be released digitally tomorrow, January 22 by Marvel Music/Hollywood Records. Click here to stream/download the Season 1 album and click here for the Season 2 album. Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British series All Creatures Great and Small written by Ben Vanstone based on the classic BBC programme, directed by Brian Percival and starring Nicholas Ralph, Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Callum Woodhouse and Rachel Shenton The show’s original music is composed by Alexandra Harwood (The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, The Escape, Growing Up Wild). All3Media & Playground Television have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score when the drama premiered in the UK last year. Also premiering today is the HBO documentary Tiger directed by Matthew Heineman & Matthew Hamachek about the rise, fall, and epic comeback of global icon Tiger Woods. H. Scott Salinas (The Banker, The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Warrior, Birth of the Dragon, Sea of Shadows) has composed the original music for the 2-parter. Disney+ announced today that Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez (Frozen, Frozen II, Coco, The Book of Mormon) have composed the theme song for Marvel’s limited series WandaVision. They also wrote unique songs for several episodes, spanning from the 1950s to the early 2000s. The theme song is featured in the show’s latest TV spot, which can be checked out after the jump. As previously reported, Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, The Muppets, Edge of Tomorrow) is composing the original score for the 9-parter directed by Matt Shakman and starring Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Kathryn Hahn as Agnes, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, as well as Kat Dennings and Randall Park.
Christophe Beck to Score Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘WandaVision’
Christophe Beck (Frozen, The Hangover, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has revealed in a recent interview with SESAC that he will be scoring Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ original series WandaVision. The show is developed by Jac Schaeffer (The Hustle) based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kat Dennings and Randall Park who are reprising their roles from the Marvel feature films.
