Premiering on Tuesday, February 11, is the Netflix original anime film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep directed by Kang Hei Chul and starring Doug Cockle, Joey Batey, Anya Chalotra and Christina Wren. The movie’s original music is composed by Joseph Trapanese (The Witcher, Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid: Redemption, Project Power). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon. Premiering on Wednesday, February 12, is the Disney+ original documentary series Harlem Ice directed by Samantha Knowles and executive produced by Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein, Geeta Gandbhir, Meredith Kaulfers, Robin Roberts and Justin Wilkes. Sami Jano (Dads, We Feed People) & James Jano have composed the show’s original music. The 5-parter, which follows the coaches and girls of Figure Skating in Harlem as they prepare for performances, competitions, and a life-changing global experience, will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+.

Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, January 15, is the Spanish limited series Cristóbal Balenciaga created by Lourdes Iglesias, Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño & Jose Mari Goenag and starring Alberto San Juan, Belén Cuesta, Josean Bengoetxea, Cecilia Solaguren, Adam Quintero, Gemma Whelan, Gabrielle Lazure, Thomas Coumans, Anouk Grinberg, Patrice Thibaud, Nine d’Urso and Anna-Victoire Olivier. The show’s original music is composed by Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Volver, The Constant Gardener, The Kite Runner, The Skin I Live In, The Room Next Door). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last January when the series premiered overseas on Disney+. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Italian Netflix original series Public Disorder (ACAB) created by Filippo Gravino based on Carlo Bonini’s novel ACAB – All Cops Are Bastards and starring Marco Giallini, Adriano Giannini, Valentina Bellè, Pierluigi Gigante, Fabrizio Nardi, Donatella Finocchiaro, Chiara Muscato, Daniele Natali, Federico Mainardi and Flavia Leone. Mokadelic (Citadel: Diana, Gomorrah, Django, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer collective’s score this past Friday. Sky Music will release a soundtrack album for the Sky/Peacock original limited series Lockerbie: A Search for Truth. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge, The Legend of Tarzan, The Perfect Couple, Smallfoot, Hotel Rwanda). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Lockerbie: A Search for Truth is developed by David Harrower based on Dr. Jim Swire’s & Peter Biddulph’s book The Lockerbie Bombing: A Father’s Search for Justice and stars Colin Firth, Catherine McCormack, Sam Troughton, Rosanna Adams, Jemma Carlton, Harry Redding, Selwa Jghalef, Mark Bonner and Ardalan Esmaili. The 5-parter is based on the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 and chronicles the search for justice by Swire and his wife who tragically lost their beloved daughter in the event.

The show is developed by Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Young Rock) & Sally Bradford McKenna (Son of Zorn) based on the Australian series of the same title and stars Stephanie Hsu, Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez. The romantic comedy follows a woman who finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Sky/Peacock original series The Day of the Jackal. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Hotel Mumbai, Lion, Adrift, One Life, Patrick Melrose, The Old Guard, Ammonite). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s “opening” track below. As previously reported, available separately as a digital single is Celeste’s opening title song This Is Who I Am. The Day of the Jackal is developed by Ronan Bennett based on Frederick Forsyth’s novel of the same title and stars Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch, Úrsula Corberó, Lia Williams, Richard Dormer, Charles Dance, Khalid Abdalla, Chukwudi Iwuji, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill, Nick Blood, Sule Rimi and Florisa Kamara.

Dustin O’Halloran (Lion, Transparent, Like Crazy, The Old Guard, Ammonite, The Essex Serpent, A Spy Among Friends) has been tapped to score the upcoming romantic comedy Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy. The film is directed by Michael Morris (To Leslie, Better Call Saul) and stars Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Leo Woodall, Isla Fisher, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jim Broadbent and Gemma Jones. The fourth installment in the Bridget Jones series follows the title character who is now a single mother and trying to forge a new path toward life and love, when she goes back to work and even tries out the dating apps, where she’s soon pursued by a dreamy and enthusiastic younger man.
