Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Gladiator 2, Chicken Run, Mulan, The Meg) has recently been scoring the upcoming National Geographic documentary series Underdogs. Rock superstars Green Day wrote the original theme song, entitled Underdog (featured in the trailer embedded below), for the show narrated by Ryan Reynolds. The 5-parter centers on the outcasts of the animal kingdom with each episode showcasing a different aspect of these underdogs’ bizarre mating strategies, surprising superpowers, deception, dubious parenting skills and gross-out behaviors.

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Ocean with David Attenborough. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Fury, Last Night in Soho, Baby Driver, Over the Moon, The Aeronauts, Suicide Squad, Dolphin Reef, The World’s End). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
