Steven Price  (Gravity, Fury, Last Night in Soho, Suicide SquadBaby Driver, Over the Moon, The Aeronauts, The World’s End) has composed the original music for the new documentary Ocean with David Attenborough. The film is directed by Toby Nowlan, Keith Scholey (African Cats, Bears) & Colin Butfield and presented and authored by the 98-year-old broadcaster who draws on his lifetime of knowledge and experience to take the audience on a journey of wonder through the planet’s most spectacular undersea habitats. The movie will share with a global audience the story of how we can, and must, restore the glory of Earth’s vast, interconnected waters. Nowlan is also producing the Silverback Films production. Price has previously scored the first season of Silverback’s Netflix series Our Planet (narrated by Attenborough) and the features David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet & Dolphin Reef (both co-directed by Scholey). Ocean with David Attenborough will be released theatrically in several markets this Thursday, May 8 before premiering on National Geographic on June 7 and making its streaming on Disney+ and Hulu the next day.

Price also has Ilya Naishuller’s action comedy Heads of State (to premiere on July 2 on Prime Video) coming up. He has also scored Sophie Brooks’ Oh, Hi!, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released on July 25 by Sony Pictures Classics, as well as Dave Green’s Coyote vs. Acme, which is expected to be released in 2026 by Ketchup Entertainment.
