Three new movies are opening in wide release this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the 3D action adventure Immortals directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff, Isabel Lucas, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, Kellan Lutz and John Hurt. The film’s music is composed by Trevor Morris. Relativity Music Group has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the historical drama J. Edgar directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Naomi Watts, Armie Hammer, Judi Dench, Stephen Root, Josh Lucas, Dermot Mulroney and Jeffrey Donovan. Eastwood has also written the score for the film. No soundtrack album has been announced, but the score can be listened to on Warner Bros’ Awards website.
