Composer Kris Bowers (The Wild Robot, Bridgerton, Green Book, GOAT, Haunted Mansion, Dear White People, The Color Purple, Space Jam: A New Legacy) is reteaming with director Reinaldo Marcus Green on the upcoming Marvel Television special presentation The Punisher: One Last Kill. The special stars as Jon Bernthal who returns as Frank Castle and follows the character as he searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight. Bernthal & Green also co-wrote the screenplay.

‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Score Album Released
Capitol Records has released the score album for the fourth season of the Netflix original series Bridgerton. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s latest season composed by Kris Bowers (The Wild Robot, King Richard, GOAT, Green Book, Haunted Mansion, Secret Invasion,The Color Purple, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Dear White People). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks (Ms. Wilson Runs the Show & Begin How It Begins) below. The label is also releasing a separate album featuring the covers from the new season today. A double vinyl edition featuring the covers on Disc 1 and Kris Bowers’ score on Disc 2 will be released on May 1 and is available for pre-order here. Capitol Records has previously released two soundtracks featuring Bowers’ score from Season 2 & Season 3, while Lakeshore Records has released the score album for Season 1.

The full details of the score album for Sony Pictures Animation’s feature GOAT have been revealed. The show is developed by Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street, The Lost City) & Steven Lightfoot (The Punisher, Hannibal) and stars Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Karen Rodriguez, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson. Kris Bowers (The Wild Robot, Bridgerton, Green Book, Secret Invasion, King Richard, Haunted Mansion, Dear White People, The Color Purple, Space Jam: A New Legacy) has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary The Eyes of Ghana. The film is directed by Ben Proudfoot (The Queen of Basketball) and details the rise and fall of revolutionary African leader Kwame Nkrumah, a towering figure of African history who inspired the liberation of the continent in the 1950s and 1960s after rising to serve as Ghana’s first President. The movie also spotlights Chris Hesse, Nkrumah’s 93-year-old forgotten personal cinematographer and his protégé, filmmaker and producer Anita Afonu.
Kris Bowers Wins Annie Award for ‘The Wild Robot’ Score
Kris Bowers was honored with his first Annie Award in the Feature category for his music from DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot at tonight’s 52nd Annie Awards ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Bowers’ score was released by Back Lot Music. The other contenders in the category were Stuart Hancock for Kensuke’s Kingdom, Pharrell Williams & Michael Andrews for Piece by Piece, John Powell, Ed Sheeran & Johnny McDaid for That Christmas and Lorne Balfe & Julian Nott for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
