Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the romantic adventure drama The Lovers. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Dirk Brosse (Paradise’s End). The soundtrack is now available to order on Varese’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples. The Lovers is directed by Roland Joffe and stars Josh Hartnett, Tamsin Egerton, Alice Englert and Claire van der Boom. The movie follows a marine archaeologist who is left brain dead after a dangerous dive to save his wife while exploring an 18th century merchant ship wreckage.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Guaranteed to top the weekend box office is Disney’s live-action adaptation of Cinderella directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Richard Madden, Stellan Skarsgard, Holliday Grainger, Sophie McShera, Derek Jacobi and Helena Bonham-Carter. The film’s original music is composed by Patrick Doyle (Sense and Sensibility, Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well the film’s songs including the original end titles track Strong written by Doyle, Branagh & Tommy Danvers and performed by Sonna Rele. Playing in front of Cinderella is Disney’s new animated short Frozen Fever directed by Jennifer Lee & Chris Buck and featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Christophe Beck (Edge of Tomorrow, The Muppets, The Hangover) who scored 2013’s feature has also composed the score for the short film, while Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Bobby Lopez have contributed a new original song. Dirk Brossé Scoring Roland Joffé’s ‘Singularity’
Dirk Brossé is composing the score for the upcoming romantic adventure Singularity. The film is directed by Roland Joffé (The Mission, The Killing Fields) and stars Josh Hartnett, Tamsin Egerton, Bipasha Basu and Abhay Deol. The movie follows a marine archaeologist who is left brain dead after a dangerous dive to save his wife while exploring an 18th century merchant ship wreckage. Joffé has also written the screenplay based on a story by Ajey Jhankar. Paul Breuls & Catherine Vandeleene (The Devil’s Double) are producing the Corsan production with Guy J. Louthan (The Bounty Hunter) and Dale G. Bradley.

Premiering on Tuesday night in the US is the mini-series Parade’s End based on the tetralogy of novels by Ford Madox Ford starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebecca Hall, Adelaide Clemens, Rupert Everett, Miranda Richardson, Anne-Marie Duff, Roger Allam, Janet McTeer, Stephen Graham and Jack Huston. Dirk Brossé has composed the score for the drama. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score has been released on Varese Sarabande Records. Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the BBC and HBO mini-series Parade’s End. The album featuring the series’ original score composed by Dirk Brossé.
