Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi horror/action movie The Gorge. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Challengers, Watchmen, Gone Girl, Empire of Light, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 14 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composers’ first and final track after the jump. The Gorge is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Miles Teller, Anya Taylor-Joy, Sope Dirisua and Sigourney Weaver. Premiering on Tuesday, February 11, is the Netflix original anime film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep directed by Kang Hei Chul and starring Doug Cockle, Joey Batey, Anya Chalotra and Christina Wren. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Win Golden Globe for ‘Challengers’ Score
Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross have received their third Golden Globe in the Original Score category for their score for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers at tonight’s 82nd Golden Globe Awards ceremony. They previously won the award for their music for The Social Network & Soul and were also nominated for their The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl and Mank scores. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Empire of Light) have recently been scoring the upcoming thriller After the Hunt. The film is directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Suspiria) and stars Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, Chloë Sevigny, Lío Mehiel, Will Price, Thaddea Graham, Christine Dye and Burgess Byrd. The movie follows a college professor who finds herself at a professional and personal crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.

The album features the film’s original score written, arranged, produced, performed, programmed and mixed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Watchmen, Challengers, Soul, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Bones and All). Also included is the end credits song Vaster Than Empires written by the composers (with lyrics inspired by William S. Burroughs’ memoirs) and performed by themselves and Brazilian vocalist Caetano Veloso.
