Premiering on Thursday, July 21, is the HBO Max original series Rap Sh!t created by Issa Rae and starring Aida Osman, Jonica Booth, KaMillion, Devon Terrell and RJ Cyler. The show’s original music is composed by Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, Passing, We Are Who We Are, Mainstream, Palo Alto, In Treatment). Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British mini-series Showtrial created by Ben Richards and starring Tracy Ifeachor, Celine Buckens, Sharon D. Clarke, Sinead Keenan, Lolita Chakrabarti and Kerr Logan. Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Spanish Princess, Domina, The Halcyon) has composed the show’s original music. Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Amazon Music has published an official playlist featuring the songs from the Amazon original movie Don’t Make Me Go. Among the artists featured are No Doubt, New Order, Hugh Masekela, Sarah Jaffe, Froidz, Iggy Pop, No Futurre, Froidz, The Strokes, Jacuzzi Boys & others. Click here to stream all songs. No word on a soundtrack release for the film. Don’t Make Me Go is directed by Hannah Marks and stars John Cho, Mia Isaac, Stefania LaVie Owen, Mitchell Hope, Jemaine Clement and Kaya Scodelario. The drama tells the story of a single father and his reluctant teenage daughter as they embark on an unforgettable cross country road trip.

Premiering tonight is the HBO original docuseries The Anarchists directed by Todd Schramke and executive produced by Jason Blum, Jeremiah Crowell, Kim Kylland, Mary Lisio, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, James Buddy Day, Andre Gaines & Allen Bain. The show’s original music is composed by Antonio Sanchez (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Get Shorty, Politics, Instructions Manual). Also in the U.S. today is the Canadian TV series SkyMed created by Julie Puckrin and starring Natasha Calis, Ace “Aason” Nadjiwon, Morgan Holmstrom, Praneet Akilla, Thomas Elms, Kheon Clarke, Mercedes Morris and Braeden Clarke. Peter Chapman & Robert Carli (Wynonna Earp, Workin’ Moms) are composing the show’s original music. The drama, which follows the triumphs, heartbreaks and tribulations of budding nurses and pilots flying air ambulances in remote Northern Canada, is premiering today in Canada on CBC and is making its U.S. debut on Paramount+.

‘The Boys’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the third soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Boys have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Agent Carter,  Sausage Party, Horrible Bosses, Ride Along, Tom & Jerry). Also included are the new season’s original songs co-written by Lennertz and performed by cast members Miles Gaston Villanueva and Laurie Holden, as well as Karen Fukuhara’s rendition of Dream a Little Dream of Me and Jensen Ackles’ cover of From a Logical Point of View. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 8 by Madison Gate Records. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring Lennertz’s music from Season 1 and Season 2.

‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Amazon Content Services will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Summer I Turned Pretty. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Zachary Dawes (Big Time Adolescence, The Peanut Butter Falcon, There’s Someone Inside Your House, Generation). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 1 and will be available to stream/download here. The Summer I Turned Pretty is created by Jenny Han based on her bestselling book of the same name and stars Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Rachel Blanchard, Gavin Casalegno, Colin Ferguson, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, Sean Kaufman and Tom Everett Scott. The coming-of-age drama follows an ordinary teenage girl who spends the summer in Cousin’s Beach, where she reunites with her childhood friend and becomes tangled up in a love triangle between him and his brother.

The details of the soundtrack album for the coming-of-age comedy drama Anything’s Possible have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Billy Porter (who has made his feature directorial debut on the project), Kim Petras, Em Beihold, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Kiana Ledé, DNCE, MIKA, Brittany Campbell, Tassia Zappia, Ryland James & others. A first track (That’s How God Made Me by Joy Oladokun) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 22 by Republic Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Anything’s Possible is directed by Porter and stars Eva Reign, Abubakr Ali and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The movie revolves around a confident high school girl who is trans as she navigates through senior year and musters up the courage to ask her classmate out.
