Premiering on Thursday, July 28, is the HBO Max original series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa based on Sara Shepard’s series of books and starring Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Maia Reficco, Malia Pyles, Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson and Alex Aiono.The show’s original music is composed by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Malignant, InsidiousAnnabelleThe Unholy, The Curse of La Llorona). Premiering on Friday, July 29, is the Apple TV+ original series Surface created by Veronica West and starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, François Arnaud, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Millie Brady. Ólafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Moonhaven, Defending Jacob) is composing the show’s original music. Mercury KX will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Friday. Also premiering on Friday is the Hulu original movie Not Okay written and directed by Quinn Shephard and starring Zoey Deutch, Dylan O’Brien, Embeth Davidtz, Mia Isaac, Tia Nadia Alexander, Dionne Hodge, Karan Soni, Negin Farsad and Dash Perry. The film’s original music is composed by Pierre-Philippe Côté (RavenousAn Eye for Beauty). Another show premiering on Friday is the Amazon original series Paper Girls developed by Stephany Folsom based on the graphic novels by Brian K. Bobby Krlic (Midsommar, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, Snowpiercer) is composing the show’s original music. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Friday. Also premiering on Friday is the Paramount+ original movie Honor Society directed by Oran Zegman and starring Angourie Rice, Gaten Matarazzo, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Armani Jackson and Amy Keum. The film’s original music is composed by Ben Zeadman & Daniel Markovich (Love Possibly). The YA comedy, which follows an ambitious high school senior whose sole focus is getting into an Ivy League college and concocts a plan to take down her top three student competitors, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

Also premiering on Friday is the Apple TV+ original series Amber Brown developed by Bonnie Hunt based on the book series by Paula Danziger and starring Carsyn Rose, Sarah Drew, Darin Brooks and Liliana Inouye. Nicholas Pike (Critters 2, The Shining, Return to Me, Captain Ron) is composing the show’s original score. Apple Video Programming has released the comedy’s theme song written by Joshua Varnadore & Taylor Scott and performed by Revel Day last week.
