Les Disques Reset has announced the first-ever soundtrack release for the 2012 thriller I, Anna written and directed by Barnaby Southcombe and starring Charlotte Rampling, Gabriel Byrne, Eddie Marsan, Jodhi May, Ralph Brown, Max Deacon, Honor Blackman and Hayley Atwell. The 6-track EP features the film’s original score composed by k.i.d. (aka J M Derain & David Braud) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. The movie, which is based on Elsa Lewin’s novel of the same name and revolves around a beautiful divorcee and a troubled detective whose lives intersect during the investigation of a vicious murder, premiered at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival and is now available on VOD and DVD. Premiering tonight is the third season of the Starz anthology series The Girlfriend Experience written and directed by Anja Marquardt (based on Steven Soderbergh’s feature of the same title) and starring Julia Goldani Telles. Matthew Pusti (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, Whistleblower) has composed the original music for Season 3 and follows Shane Carruth and the Mondo Boys who scored the first two seasons. The third season, which is set amidst the London tech scene and follows a neuroscience major who begins to explore the transactional world of The Girlfriend Experience, only to find herself deep inside the uncanny valley with the relationships she creates, will air Sunday nights on Starz.
Premiering on Tuesday, May 4, is Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series Star Wars: The Bad Batch created by Dave Filoni and starring Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino. The show’s original music is composed by Kevin Kiner (Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, CSI: Miami, Titans, City on a Hill, Making a Murderer) who previously scored all episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (and the feature of the same title) and Star Wars Rebels. The 2-parter is directed by Alex Gibney (We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks, Taxi to the Dark Side, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room) and explores the origins, extent, and fallout of the opioid crisis, one of the most devastating public health tragedies of our time, with half a million deaths from overdoses this century alone. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror thriller Separation directed by William Brent Bell and starring Rupert Friend, Brian Cox, Mamie Gummer, Madeline Brewer, Eric T. Miller, Violet McGraw and Simon Quarterman. The film’s original music is composed by Brett Detar (Brahms: The Boy II, The Devil Inside, Wer). MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening semi-wide in a couple of hundred theaters before coming out on VOD on May 21 is the drama Four Good Days directed by Rodrigo García and starring Mila Kunis, Glenn Close and Stephen Root. Edward Shearmur (Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Escape at Dannemora, Cruel Intentions, Charlie’s Angels, Johnny English) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Jupiter’s Legacy. The album features selections of the original score from the show composed by Stephanie Economou (Manhunt: Deadly Games, Step Up: High Water, Marvel’s 616). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, May 7 and is now available for pre-order here. A first track (Union of Justice) was already released today and can be checked out after the jump. Jupiter’s Legacy is developed by Steven S. Slaughter Gang & Epic Records have released the title song from the Saw reboot Spiral. The track is written and performed by 21 Savage (who also serves as the executive producer of the film’s soundtrack) who incorporated Charlie Clouser’s Hello Zepp theme from his Saw scores into the track. Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 2009 sci-fi thriller Knowing directed by Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage, Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. The album features the expanded original score from the movie composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Scream, A Quiet Place, The Hurt Locker, Logan, The Wolverine, Ford v. Ferrari), including around 50 minutes of previously unreleased music.
