Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the ITV drama Red Eye. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Ian Arber (The Capture, Medici, The Chelsea Detective, My Name Is LennyThe OneWar of the Worlds). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 22 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Jinx – Part Two directed by Andrew Jarecki. The show’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, FatmanThe Girlfriend Experience, Red Right Hand, Silk Road). The follow-up to 2015’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst continue the filmmaker’s investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward earlier. The 6-parter will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

Premiering tomorrow, April 22, is the Disneynature documentary Tiger directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Rob Sullivan and narrated by Priyanka Chopra. Composer Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, The Rite, Touching the Void, State of Play) is reuniting with director Justin Chadwick on the new British Hulu/Disney+ original series Shardlake. The show is written by Stephen Butchard (The Last Kingdom, Baghdad Central) based on the popular novels by C.J. Sansom, directed by Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl, Tulip Fever) and stars Arthur Hughes, Sean Bean, Anthony Boyle, Babou Ceesay, Paul Kaye, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Matthew Steer, Peter Firth, Brian Vernel, David Pearse, Irfan Shamji, Miles Barrow, Mike Noble and Kimberley Nixon. The 4-part murder mystery is set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries and follows the title character whose sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when he gets instructed to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the vampire horror movie Abigail directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett and starring Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Angus Cloud, Kevin Durand and Giancarlo Esposito. The film’s original music is composed by Brian Tyler (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Avengers: Age of UltronIron Man 3Crazy Rich AsiansFast & Furious, Yellowstone, Ready or Not). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song by Jean Dawson today. Also opening wide is the action comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Henry Golding, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Til Schweiger and Cary Elwes. The film is directed by Ante Novakovic (Leaves of the Tree) and stars Shawnee Smith, Taryn Manning, Drew Moerlein, Bruce Dern and Tyrese Gibson. The movie revolves around a woman who endeavors to rebuild her shattered life after the murder of her family at the hands of her deranged and obsessed cousin. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2005 sci-fi action adventure Doom based on video game series of the same title, directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Razaaq Adoti and Dwayne Johnson. The 2-CD set features the expanded original score from the film composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream,  Black Swan, The Fountain, Noah, PeacemakerRebecca, Love Lies Bleeding, Moon, The Wrestler, Stoker), including over an hour of previously unreleased music. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2000 supernatural horror thriller What Lies Beneath directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Diana Scarwid, James Remar, Joe Morton and Miranda Otto. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack features the original score from the DreamWorks Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Avengers: Endgame, Forrest Gump, The Mummy Returns, The Polar ExpressCast Away, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
