WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO limited series Mare of Easttown. The album features the show’s original score composed by Lele Marchitelli (The Great Beauty, The Young PopeThe New PopeLoro). Also included are three songs performed by actress Angourie Rice. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Mare of Easttown is created by Brad Ingelsby and stars Kate Winslet, Evan Peters, Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Rice, Guy Pearce, David Denman, Joe Tippett, John Douglas Thompson, Cailee Spaeny, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon and Neal Huff. Composer/songwriter Curtis Moore is scoring the new Fox animated comedy HouseBroken. The show is created by Gabrielle Allan, Jennifer Crittenden & Clea DuVall and features the voices of Lisa Kudrow, Tony Hale, Will Forte, Jason Mantzoukas, Sam Richardson, Nat Faxon, DuVall herself and Sharon Horgan. The series follows a group of neighborhood pets and stray animals as they work through their issues inside and outside their therapy group. Allan, Crittenden (Everybody Loves Raymond) & DuVall (Happiest Season) are also executive producing the Kapital Entertainment and FOX Entertainment production with Horgan, Clelia Mountford (Frank of Ireland, Motherland), Aaron Kaplan (The Chi, American Housewife) and Dana Honor (A Million Little Things). Premiering on Thursday, June 3, is the British TV series We Are Lady Parts created by Nida Manzoor and starring Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela Impey, Faith Omole, Juliette Motamed, Lucie Shorthouse, Zaqi Ismail and Aiysha Hart. Manzoor also co-wrote the show’s original songs with Shez Manzoor, Sanya Manzoor and Benjamin Fregin. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack EP featuring six songs from the show last week. Also premiering on Thursday is the second season of the Paramount+ original series Why Women Kill created by Marc Cherry and starring Allison Tolman, Nick Frost, Lana Parrilla, Jordane Christie, B.K. Cannon, Matthew Daddario and Veronica Falcón. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (FargoStar Trek: Discovery & PicardThe Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, Legion) &  Zoe Keating (Manhattan, The Returned). The soundtrack is now available to stream on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Oslo is written by J.T. Rogers based on his Tony Award-winning play of the same title and stars Ruth Wilson, Andrew Scott, Salim Dau, Jeff Wilbusch, Waleed Zuaiter, Igal Naor, Rotem Keinan, Dov Glickman, Itzik Cohen, Tobias Zilliacus and Sasson Gabai. Composer Jeff Grace (In a Valley of Violence, The House of the Devil, Certain Women, Meek’s Cutoff, Night Moves) is reuniting with writer/director Jim Mickle on the new Netflix original series Sweet Tooth. The show is developed by Mickle & Beth Schwartz based on the DC comic book series by Jeff Lemire and stars Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar, Stefania LaVie Owen, Aliza Vellani, Dania Ramirez, Neil Sandilands, Will Forte and James Brolin. The fantasy drama tells the story of a lovable boy who’s half-human and half-deer on an adventure across a post-apocalyptic world as he searches for a new beginning with a gruff protector. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II written and directed by John Krasinski and stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Djimon Hounsou. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, 3:10 to YumaScreamFord v. Ferrari, World War ZHellboy). La-La Land Records and Paramount Music have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this week.
