Dario Marianelli (Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Kubo and the Two Strings, Anna Karenina, Bumblebee, Darkest Hour, V for Vendetta) is attached to score the upcoming romantic drama Late In Summer. The film marks the directorial debut of novelist Talitha Stevenson and will star Emily Watson and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The movie is set in rural Cornwall will chart a brief encounter between a lonely farmer’s wife and a Black American GI that leads to first love in middle life and an impossible choice. Vere Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Rock Dog 2: Rock Around the Park. The album features five original songs from the film written and produced by Matthew Gerrard (Brother Bear 2, Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You), as well as selection from the movie’s original score, which Gerrard co-wrote with Richard Evans.
