Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix animated event series Maya and the Three. The album features the original music from the show, including the themes composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, 21 Grams) and selections of the original score written by Tim Davies (Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (Maya’s Theme by Santaolalla and The Tecas Ride by Davies) are already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Maya and the Three is created, executive produced and directed by Jorge R. Laurence Love Greed (Keeping Faith, A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life) has released a soundtrack album for the BBC conspiracy thriller The Trick. The album features the original score, as well as two songs from the show’s first season composed, produced and performed by 23-year-old musician/producer Mato (aka Mato Wayuhi). Little Twig Records has released a soundtrack album for the Maltese drama Luzzu. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jon Natchez (The Climb, Last Call, BOO!, Pledge, Cubby) of the indie rock band The War on Drugs. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Luzzu is written and directed by Alex Camilleri and stars Jesmark Scicluna, Michela Farrugia and David Scicluna.
