MCA Nashville will release a soundtrack album for the Prime Video original limited series The Gray House. The album features War and Treaty’s main title theme song Blood in the River, as well as original tracks performed by Shania Twain & Drake Milligan, Killer Mike, Adrienne Warren, Yolanda Adams, Lainey Wilson, Scott Stapp and Larkin Poe. The soundtrack will be released on February 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Heart of America written by Erin Enderlin, Jim ‘Moose’ Brown & Jeff Fahey and performed by Willie Nelson) is being released today and can also be checked out after the jump. UMe has announced a new soundtrack release for the 1986 teen comedy drama classic Pretty in Pink directed by Howard Deutch, written by John Hughes and starring Molly Ringwald, Harry Dean Stanton, Jon Cryer, James Spader, Annie Potts and Andrew McCarthy. The 40th Anniversary Edition reissue features the songs from the movie, including The Psychedelic Furs’ Top 5 title track, OMD’s If You Leave, Echo & The Bunnymen’s Bring on the Dancing Horses, The Smiths’ Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want and INXS’ Do Wot You Do. Capitol Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Netflix original series Bridgerton. The 6-track EP features the covers from the first part of the show’s fourth season, including Coldplay’s Life In Technicolor, Third Eye Blind’s Never Let You Go & Paramore’s All I Wanted, all reimagined by Vitamin String Quartet, as well as a a cover version of USHER ft. Pitbull’s DJ Got Us Falling in Love by Strings from Paris, Taylor Swift’s Enchanted covered by Joseph William Morgan and a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s Bad Idea Right? by Caleb Chan. The film is directed by Max Gershberg (Court of Gold) & Jake Rogal (The Last Dance) and tells the story of the “Miracle on Ice,” when the 1980 U.S. Hockey Team beat the USSR in the Olympic semi-finals at the height of the Cold War to bring home a gold medal.
