The details of the second score album for the second season of the Netflix animated series Arcane have been revealed. The album features the original score from Act II of Season 2 composed by Alexander TempleAlex Seaver, as well as Andrew Kierszenbaum. The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 17 by Riot Games. Chk back on this page for the streaming/download link. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, 21/22 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of MeatballsThe Croods: A New Age) and Nick Lee (The Brothers Sun, Grand Crew) are the composers of the new Hulu limited series Interior Chinatown. The show is created by Charles Yu based on his own novel of the same title and stars Jimmy O. Yang, Ronny Chieng, Chloe Bennet, Sullivan Jones, Lisa Gilroy, Archie Kao and Diana Lin. The drama follows a young Chinese-American actor who stumbles into a murder mystery leading to the discovery of a secret history of Chinatown, the buried legacy of his family and what it means for him in today’s America. Opening in theaters nationwide is the action fantasy comedy Red One directed by Jake Kasdan and starring Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, J.K. Simmons, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll and Wesley Kimmel. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (X-Men: First Class, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Wreck-It-RalphKong: Skull Island, Big Hero 6Jumanji: Welcome to the JungleCaptain Phillips). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today, as well as an original song by Laufey today. Opening in select theaters today before coming out on VOD next Friday, November 22, is the documentary The World According to Allee Willis directed by Alexis Spraic about the songwriter/artist and her struggle with not fitting established gender and sexual norms. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, The LEGO Movie, The Croods: A New Age21/22 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The track written by Phoebe Gittins (who co-wrote the film’s screenplay with Arty Papageorgiou and Jeffrey Addiss & Will Matthews) & composer David Long and performed by English folk-pop artist Paris Paloma is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Sony Classical has announced The World of Hans Zimmer – Part II: A New Dimension. The sequel to 2019’s The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration features seventeen more of the Academy Award-winning composer’s most successful soundtracks transformed into new orchestral suites. Highlights include a a new romantic suite from The Prince of Egypt, a “cello-concerto-like” version of Final Ascent from No Time to Die, a newly crafted suite of The Rock, and a tranquil rendition of A Time of Quiet Between the Storms from Dune Part Two. Among the featured soloists and collaborators are singers Lebo M, Lisa Gerrard, Nokukhanya Dlamini, Gan-ya Ben-gur Akselrod, musicians Pedro Eustache, Juan García-Herreros, Alexios Anest, Mariko Muranaka, Eliane Correa,Rusanda Panfili, Luis Ribeiro, Aleksandra Šuklar & Lucy Landymore who perform alongside the Odessa Orchestra & Friends & the Nairobi Chamber Choir, under the baton of conductor Gavin Greenaway. The track written and performed by Elton John & Brandi Carlile is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The album features selections of the original music from the second part of the show’s sixth and final season composed by Emmy Award winners Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Obliterated, Twisted MetalPitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin).
