Composer Daniel Pemberton (Project Hail Mary, Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Masters of the Universe, The Bad Guys, Materialists, Birds of Prey) is reuniting with director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later…) on the upcoming biographical drama Ink. The film is based on the play of the same title by James Graham (Dear England, Sherwood) and stars Jack O’Connell as The Sun editor Larry Lamb, Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch and Claire Foy as Jules Davies. The full details of the soundtrack album for Christopher Nolan’s action epic The Odyssey have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Sinners, Oppenheimer, Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, The Mandalorian, Turning Red, Venom, Community). Also included is the original end credits song When I’m Home written by Göransson, James Blake, Travis Scott & Nolan and performed by Blake, Scott & Göransson. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 17 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.. Varèse Sarabande has announced a reissue of the soundtrack album for the 1986 thriller Blue Velvet written and directed by David Lynch and starring Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper and Laura Dern. The album, which is being released to celebrate the movie’s 40th Anniversary, features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, The Straight Story, The Beach, Wild at Heart, The City of Lost Children), as well as songs performed by Bobby Vinton, Roy Orbison, Bill Doggett, Ketty Lester & Julee Cruise. The soundtrack will be released on vinyl in a rainbow foil jacket and on CD on September 4 and is now available for pre-order in both formats on Amazon. A variety of limited-edition pressings: Yellow vinyl (exclusively at Amoeba Records), Blue (Barnes & Noble), Blue Sky Blend (Urban Outfitters), Sandy Pink (Books-A-Million), Silver & Blue Velvet (Brooklyn Vegan) and Silver will also be available at participating indie retailers.
