Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the Lebanese drama Broken Keys (Le Dernier Piano). The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, Judy, Betty Blue, 1408). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 1, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is available to order here. Broken Keys is written and directed by Jimmy Keyrouz and stars Tarek Yaacoub, Sara Abi Kanaan and Adel Karam. The movie tells the true story of a young pianist trying to leave his war-torn Middle-East neighborhood and aspiring to a career in Europe, who struggles to rebuild his piano after it was destroyed by a leader of the Islamic state. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie The Batman co-written and directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, John Turturro, Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, Jayme Lawson and Colin Farrell. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Jurassic World, Star Trek, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last week. Check out our previous article for the full album details and to learn more about the Warner Bros. Opening in select theaters while also premiering on Showtime today is the sci-fi drama After Yang written and directed by Kogonada and starring Colin Farrell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Sarita Choudhury, Justin H. Min, Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, Clifton Collins Jr. and Haley Lu Richardson. Aska Matsumiya (Skate Kitchen, Bruised, Betty, I’m Your Woman, Selah and the Spades) has composed the film’s original score and Ryuichi Sakamoto (The Last Emperor, The Revenant, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Little Buddha). has contributed an original theme. The full details of the new soundtrack album for the HBO original series Euphoria have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the show’s second season by series composer Labrinth, lead actress Zendaya, Lana Del Rey, James Blake, Tove Lo, Ericdoa and Dominik Fike. Also included are tracks by Billy Swan, Yeat, Orville Peck, INXS, Bobby Darin, Lenny Kravitz, Noah Cyrus & Lil Xan and Gerry Rafferty.
