Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish historical drama The Emigrants (Utvandrarna). The album features the film’s original music composed by Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, Anatomy of a Scandal, Things We Lost in the Fire, After the Wedding, In a Better World, Battlefield V). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Emigrants is directed by Erik Poppe and stars Lisa Carlehed, Gustaf Skarsgård, Tove Lo, Sofia Helin, Lena Strömdahl. The SF Studios production is based on Vilhelm Moberg’s classic story about a group of Swedes who left misery behind for a new life on the other side of the Atlantic in the mid-19th century. WaterTower Music has released the first soundtrack album for DC’s first-ever Batman preschool series Batwheels. The Vol. 1 album features eight original songs from the show’s first season written by Andy Sturmer and the show’s co-executive producer Michael G. Stern. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Batwheels is executive produced by Sam Register and stars Ethan Hawke, AJ Hudson, Leah Lewis, Jacob Bertrand, Jordan Reed, Madigan Kacmar, Noah Bentley, Lilimar, Kimberly D. Brooks and Mick Wingert. ‘Dredd’ 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Soundtrack to Be Released

Atlantic Screen Music will release a new soundtrack album for the 2012 sci-fi action movie Dredd directed by Pete Travis, scripted by Alex Garland and starring Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Jason Cope and Domhnall Gleeson. The album features the film’s original score composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Tales from the Loop, Dynasty, Wormwood, Walking with Dinosaurs), including the content of the original 2012 soundtrack (released by Metropolis Movie Music), as well as four new remixes by the composer himself, Mogwai, John Tejada & P.T. Adamczyk and three piano versions of score tracks. The 10th Anniversary Deluxe soundtrack will be released digitally on November 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Premiering on Tuesday, October 18, is the HBO original documentary Mama’s Boy directed by Laurent Bouzereau and produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, Steven Shareshian, Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey. The film’s original music is composed by Raphaelle Thibaut (Secrets of the Whales, Introducing, Selma Blair, Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History). The Amblin Television and Playtone production, which centers on the upbringing of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk) and is based on his 2019 memoir Mama’s Boy: A Story from Our Americas, will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Premiering on Wednesday, October 19, is the Australian thriller The Stranger directed by Thomas M. Wright and starring Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Jada Alberts, Cormac Wright, Steve Mouzakis and Matthew Sunderland. Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Significant Other) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, was released theatrically in Australia earlier this month and will be available to stream worldwide on Wednesday on Netflix.
