Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime drama The Bikeriders written and directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Norman Reedus, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen and Karl Glusman. The film’s original score is composed by David Wingo (Barry, Mayans, M.C., The Report, Our Brand Is Crisis, Kidding). Mutant and Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album featuring thirteen 60s songs from the movie by artists such as The Sonics, Gary U.S. Bonds, Dale Hawkins, The Stooges, The Staple Singers, The Shangri-Las, Mickey Murray, among others, as a vinyl edition later this summer. Also opening wide is the horror thriller The Exorcism co-written and directed by Joshua John Miller and starring Russell Crowe, Sam Worthington, Ryan Simpkins, Chloe Bailey, David Hyde Pierce and Adam Goldberg. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Tokyo Vice, Fear the Walking Dead, Enemy, The White Tiger, The Staircase, Boy Erased) have composed the film’s original music.
