Invada Records has released a soundtrack album for the Swiss horror comedy Mad Heidi. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mario Batkovic (Neighbours, The Beekeeper). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Mad Heidi is directed by Johannes Hartmann & Sandro Klopfstein and stars Alice Lucy, Max Rüdlinger, David Schofield and Casper Van Dien. The movie based on the literary classic Heidi is set in a dystopian Switzerland that has fallen under the fascist rule of a cheese magnate and follows the titular mountain girl as she develops into a rebellious Amazon and sets out to put a stop to the cheese fascist. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Christian Henson (The Devil’s Double, Black Death, Triangle, Wild Bill, Chasing Liberty, Tommy’s Honour). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Smile, Utopia, The Third Day, The Girl with All the Gifts, Hunters, National Treasure) and Kim Neundorf. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released Tapia de Veer’s music from Season 1 last year. Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama 5000 Blankets. The album features the film’s original music composed by Panu Aaltio (Tale of a Lake, Super Furball, 95, Finders of the Lost Yacht). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. 5000 Blankets is directed by Amin Matalqa and stars Anna Camp, Rob Mayes, Carson Minniear, Rod Hallett, Kim Myers and Cindy Hogan. The movie is inspired by a true story and follows a determined woman and her young son who set out to find her husband on the streets after he has a mental breakdown and goes missing, sparking a movement of compassion toward those in need and inspiring a city. Butler’s novel and starring Mallori Johnson, Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Austin Smith, Gayle Rankin, Sophina Brown, David Alexander Kaplan and Sheria Irving. The track written by Honorary Academy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren and performed by Sofia Carson is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
