Genie Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean sci-fi drama The Moon (Deo mun). The album features the film’s original music composed by Lee Jae-hak (Soar Into the Sun, 200 Pounds Beauty, Take Off). Also included is the movie’s title song by the composer, Haram feat. KiTak. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Moon is directed by Kim Yong-hwa and stars Sul Kyung-gu and Doh Kyung-soo. The movie is set seven years after Korea’s first fully manned mission to the moon ends in disaster and a second human spaceflight is launched successfully, until a strong solar wind causes the spacecraft to malfunction. The drama is opening in South Korea today and will be released in select U.S. theaters on August 18 by Well Go USA Entertainment.
