Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the action adventure Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The album features eight previously unreleased tracks (described as “music that inspired the score”) composed by Jongnic Bontemps (Redfall, 4400My Name Is Pauli Murray, United Skates, World’s BestWedding Season). The original soundtrack album featuring Bontemps’ score from the film was released a year ago in June of 2023, while an expanded release featuring five additional tracks was released on vinyl in December. Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated film Ultraman: Rising. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Scot Stafford (Lost Ollie, Trash Truck). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Ultraman: Rising is directed by Shannon Tindle, co-directed by John Aoshima and features the voices of Christopher Sean, Gedde Watanabe, Keone Young, Tamlyn Tomita and Julia Harriman. The show is executive produced and narrated by James Cameron (Titanic, Avatar, Aliens) and takes audiences aboard the OceanXplorer, OceanX’s state-of-the-art scientific research and exploration vessel, to investigate the farthest frontiers of the world’s oceans, 80% of which are entirely unknown. The BBC Studios Natural History Unit production follows a group of National Geographic Explorers and other ocean experts as they embark on a global odyssey to solve some of the ocean’s greatest mysteries through the lives of its animals and their ecosystems. Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Last of Us, The Book of Life) has teamed up with Juan Luqui (Wild Life, (MonsterlandDear Child), Paco Cabral (Diego: The Last Goodbye) and Matias Tozolla (Messenger on a White Horse) to score the upcoming documentary Norita. He also serves as an executive producer on the film directed by Jayson McNamara & Andrea Tortonese and tells the story of Norita Cortiñas who helped found a movement of Argentinian mothers in the 1970s whose children had been “disappeared” by the country’s right-wing military regime and is seen as a fundamental fixture in the movement’s success during the country’s 2020 vote to legalize abortion.
