Sky and Peacock have announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Inception, Dune, The Dark Knight) and Kara Talve (Prehistoric Planet, The Simpsons) will score the upcoming limited series The Tattooist of Auschwitz. The show is based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Heather Morris and stars Jonah Hauer-King, Anna Próchniak, Harvey Keitel, Melanie Lynskey and Jonas Nay. The 6-part drama is inspired by the true-life story of Lale Sokolov who arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1942 and was given the job of tattooing identification numbers on prisoners’ arms. ‘Flora and Son’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the musical drama Flora and Son. The album features the songs from the movie written by Gary Clark (Sing Street) & director John Carney (Once, Begin Again) and performed by cast members Eve Hewson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Orén Kinlan, as well as several score tracks. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 15 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download) and a vinyl edition (to be released this December) is available to order here. A first song (High Life performed by Hewson & Kinlan) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below and a second single (Meet in the Middle by Gordon-Levitt & Hewson) will be coming out on September 13.
