David Buckley (The Sandman, The Good Wife, Papillon, Nobody, Angel Has Fallen, The Forbidden Kingdom,Greenland) & Luke Richards (Six Four) have teamed up to score the upcoming British Netflix limited series Fool Me Once. The show is based on Harlan Coben’s bestseller and stars Michelle Keegan, Adeel Akhtar, Richard Armitage, Joanna Lumley, Emmett J. Scanlan, Dino Fetscher and Joe Armstrong. The 8-part crime thriller follows an ex-soldier who uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches into the past after she sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam. Coben is also executive producing the Quay Street production with lead writer Danny Brocklehurst (Brassic, A Teacher), as well as Nicola Shindler (Years and Years, Nolly) and Richard Fee (Safe). Buckley has previously scored Netflix’s Coben adaptations The Stranger & Stay Close (with Richards) for the producers. Fool Me Once will premiere on January 1, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Buckley is also expected to return to score the second season of Netflix’s The Sandman and third season of the streamer’s The Lincoln Lawyer.
