Premiering on Wednesday, October 11, is the Netflix documentary series Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul executive produced and directed by R.J. Cutler about the controversial electronic cigarette company Juul. The show’s original music is composed by Craig DeLeon (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, Fatal Attraction, Velma, Strange Darling, End of the Road, Music). Check out our previous news article for more information about the 4-parter, which will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Thursday, October 12, is the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher created by Mike Flanagan and starring Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Henry Thomas and Mark Hamill. The Newton Brothers (Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, The Forever Purge, Midnight Mass, Oculus) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past Friday. Walt Disney Records has released a new song from the Latin American Disney+ limited series 4Ever. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Fuego written by Mauricio Rengifo & Andrés Torres and performed by the Miami-based boy band CNCO. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian/German/Irish drama An Endless Sunday (Una sterminata domenica). The album features the film’s original music composed by Shiro Sagisu (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman, Attack on Titan). Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror movie The Exorcist: Believer co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and starring Leslie Odom, Jr., Jennifer Nettles, Ann Dowd, Norbert Leo Butz, Olivia Marcus, Lidya Jewett, and Ellen Burstyn. The film’s original music is composed by David Wingo (Mud, Take Shelter, Barry, The Report, Midnight Special, Loving) and Amman Abbasi (Dayveon). Opening semi-wide in several hundred theaters is the romantic comedy She Came to Me written and directed by Rebecca Miller and starring Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei, Anne Hathaway, Joanna Kulig and Brian d’Arcy James. Bryce Dessner (Cyrano, The Two Popes, Bardo, A Good Person, The Kitchen, Irresistible) has composed the film’s original score. Warner Classics has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original score by Bruce Springsteen last week. ‘The Monster Squad’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released

Paramount Music has released a new digital soundtrack album for the 1987 horror comedy The Monster Squad co-written and directed by Fred Dekker and starring Andre Gower, Robby Kiger, Duncan Regehr, Stephen Macht, Stan Shaw and Tom Noonan. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Young Sherlock Holmes, Rescuers Down Under, Homeward Bound, Tombstone). Also included is the Monster Squad Rap written by Michael Sembello & Richard Rudolph. Genie Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original film Ballerina. The album features the original score from the movie composed by South Korean rapper, singer and music producer Gray (aka Lee Seong-hwa) who made his feature scoring debut on the project, as well as songs by DeVita, Jambino, Woo & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Ballerina is directed by Lee Chung-hyun and stars Jun Jong-seo, Kim Ji-hun and Park Yu-rim. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Entrapment, Drag Me to Hell, The Hurricane, Sinister, The Shipping News). Cartel Pictures has released two soundtrack albums for Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge’s feature directorial debut Monsters of California. The albums feature the original music from the sci-fi adventure composed by Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin (who is also a member of DeLonge’s band Angels & Airwaves). Aaron Rubin has provided additional music. Both soundtracks are now available to stream/download on most major digital music services.
