The album features the film’s original music composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, Lord of War, McFarland, USA, Amy, Nine Days, Flight Risk, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Senna). Walt Disney Records has announced the first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Gore Verbinski’s 2006 fantasy adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Stellan Skarsgård and Bill Nighy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Lion King, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Dune, Inception, Rain Man, Man of Steel). The soundtrack will be released on vintage “Bottle Clear” vinyl on September 25 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Premiering on Thursday, August 13, is the Australian Netflix original series My Brilliant Career developed by Liz Doran based on Miles Franklin’s classic novel of the same title and starring Philippa Northeast, Christopher Chung, Anna Chancellor, Kate Mulvany, Genevieve O’Reilly, Alexander England, Sherry-Lee Watson, Jake Dunn and Miah Madden. The show’s original music is composed by François Tétaz (The Surfer, Wolf Creek, Rogue, Judy & Punch, Hesher, Beast of War, The Portal). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Indian Netflix original series Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Anurag Saikia (Ill Smoking Barrels, Panchayat, Article 15). A separate soundtrack EP featuring the songs from the series was released last month by T-Series. Operation Safed Sagar is created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar & Kushal Srivastava and stars Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Taaruk Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Arnav Bhasin, Dia Mirza, Amrita Bagchi, Prajakta Koli and Adil Hussain.
