Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Brazilian dystopian action thriller Beast Race (Corrida dos Bichos). The album features the film’s original music composed by Antonio Pinto (City of God, Lord of War, McFarland, USA, Amy, Nine Days, Flight Risk, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Senna). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Beast Race is directed by Ernesto Solis, Rodrigo Pesavento & Fernando Meirelles and stars Matheus Abreu, Rodrigo Santoro, Isis Valverde, Bruno Gagliasso, Thainá Duarte, Seu Jorge, João Guilherme, Grazi Massafera, Silvero Pereira and Anitta. The movie is set in a future Rio de Janeiro and follows a young leader of the resistance who must enter a deadly parkour-inspired competition in order to save his sister’s life. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and just made its streaming debut last Friday on Prime Video.
