Waxwork Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for Jane Schoenbrun’s horror movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the original song Pain Is the Heart of Love written by the film’s composer Alex G and featuring vocals by The Blue Nile’s Paul Buchanan. Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is written and directed by Schoenbrun and stars Hannah Einbinder, Gillian Anderson, Eva Victor, Amanda Fix, Arthur Conti, Sarah Sherman, Zach Cherry, Dylan Baker, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Patrick Fischler, Kevin McDonald, Quintessa Swindell and Jack Haven. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, has just been released in select U.S. theaters nationwide last weekend by Mubi and will expand nationwide next Friday, August 21.
