Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the adventure drama Arthur the King directed by Simon Cellan Jones and starring Mark Wahlberg, Nathalie Emmanuel, Simu Liu, Juliet Rylance, Bear Grylls, Ali Suliman and Paul Guilfoyle. The film’s original music is composed by Kevin Matley (The Family Plan, Cocaine Cowboy, Path of the Panther, Daniel). Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the satirical comedy The American Society of Magical Negroes written and directed by Kobi Libii and starring Justice Smith, David Alan Grier, Michaela Watkins, An-Li Bogan, Drew Tarver, Rupert Friend and Nicole Byer. Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope, Bad Education, The Burial, Breaking, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Nightbooks, See You Yesterday) has composed the film’s original music.
