Hans Zimmer has won his fifth Grammy Award for his score from Dune Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two in the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category at today’s 67th Annual Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony in Los Angeles. He was previously honored with a Grammy in the same category for his music for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. Jon Batiste & Dan Wilson received the award for the original song It Never Went Away from the documentary American Symphony in the Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category. Maestro: Music by  Leonard Bernstein was the winner in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Visual Media category. The album was released by Deutsche Grammophon.

In addition, Winifred Phillips was honored with her first Grammy Award for Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord in the Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media category.
