The details of the first soundtrack album for the third season of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the first eight episodes of the show’s final season composed by Kevin Kiner (Ahsoka, Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Rebels, Doom Patrol, Narcos: Mexico, Titans, Hell on Wheels, CSI: Miami). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 29 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A second volume is expected to come out in May. The label has previously four albums featuring Kiner’s score from Season 1 and Season 2 in 2021 and 2023. THR is reporting that singer/songwriter, jazz pianist and composer Jon Batiste (Soul, American Symphony, The First Wave) has been tapped to score the upcoming biographical comedy drama SNL 1975. The film is directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and stars Gabriel LaBelle as SNL creator Lorne Michaels, alongside Cooper Hoffman, Rachel Sennott, Matt Wood, Ella Hunt, Cory Michael Smith, Dylan O’Brien, Lamorne Morris, J.K.
