The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lucas Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, Elite, Palm Trees in the Snow, The Raven, The Quiet Ones, The Cold Light of Day, Welcome to Eden). Kickstarter Campaign Launched for Premiere Re-Recordings of James Horner’s ‘The Hand’ & ‘The Dresser’ Scores

Perseverance Records has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for the world premiere recordings of two unreleased scores written by Academy Award-winning composer James Horner (Titanic, Braveheart, Avatar, Apollo 13, Field of Dreams, Aliens, A Beautiful Mind, Legends of the Fall). The titles include Oliver Stone’s 1981 horror film The Hand starring Michael Caine & Andrea Marcovicci and Peter Yates’ 1983 drama The Dresser starring Albert Finney & Tom Courtenay. Among the key people involved in the project, which is supported and endorsed by the Horner Estate and the composer’s widow Sara, are orchestrator Nikiforos Chrysoloras, blaster beam inventor Craig Huxley, pianist Gloria Cheng and conductor, orchestrator & arranger Matt Dunkley. Universal Music has released a new soundtrack album for the Channel 4 & Peacock original series We Are Lady Parts. The soundtrack features the songs from the first two seasons of the show performed by the titular band Lady Parts, including original tracks written by show creator Nida Manzoor, Shez Manzoor, Sanya Manzoor & Benjamin Fregin, as well several cover versions.
