Grande Ourse has released a soundtrack album for the Swiss/French comedy Dog on Trial (Le procès du chien). The album features the film’s original music composed by David Sztanke (Transatlantic, Raël: The Alien Prophet, Magnetic Beats, Sophie’s Misfortunes, Keep an Eye Out). Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). Rebel Production has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Hounds of War. The album features the film’s original music written by the composer team (credited in the movie as Vlad Vilnyy, Evgenii Wick & Nick Ostwind). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Also listen to the composers’ first track (Nuttertools) after the jump. Available separately as a digital single are three tracks written for the project by electronic music artist Vladtoseeu (click here to stream/download). Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the coming-of-age period drama White Bird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Skyfall, Road to Perdition, Wall-E, Elemental). Also included is the original song Little Bird written by Newman, with lyrics by R.J. Palacio and performed by lead actress Ariella Glaser. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1972 psychological horror thriller The Other directed by Robert Mulligan and starring Uta Hagen, Diana Muldaur, Chris Udvarnoky & Martin Udvarnoky. The Deluxe Edition album features the first-ever release of the complete original score (in stereo) from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Chinatown, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Basic Instinct, L.A.
