Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, February 17, is the British limited series Best Interests created by Jack Thorne and starring Sharon Horgan, Michael Sheen, Alison Oliver, Noma Dumezweni, Niamh Moriarty, Des McAleer, Mat Fraser, Chizzy Akudolu, Gary Beadle, Jack Morris, Pippa Haywood, Lucian Msamati, Shane Zaza and Lisa McGrillis. The show’s original music composed by Stephen Rennicks (Normal People, Room, Frank, Conversations with Friends, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, The Little Stranger, The Quiet Girl) . Also premiering tomorrow is the BritBox original drama A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story written by Kelly Jones based on Carol Ann Lee’s novel A Fine Day for Hanging: The Real Ruth Ellis Story and starring Lucy Boynton, Toby Jones, Laurie Davidson, Mark Stanley and Bessie Carter. Samuel Sim (The Bay, The Spanish Princess, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Domina, Anne, The Halcyon, Home Fires) has composed the show’s original music.
