Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Shadow of the Empire, World on Fire, Any Human Heart, The Outlaws, Man in an Orange Shirt, My Scientology Movie) & Dame Evelyn Glennie (Trial & Retribution, Finding Altamira, The Trench) are the composers of the new ITV drama Code of Silence. The show is created by Catherine Moulton (The Stolen Girl) and stars Rose Ayling-Ellis, Kieron Moore, Charlotte Ritchie, Andrew Buchan, Nathan Armarkwei Laryea, Beth Goddard, Joe Absolom, Andrew Scarborough, Rolf Choutan and Fifi Garfield. The 6-part crime thriller revolves around a deaf woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when she gets recruited for a covert operation thanks to her exceptional lip-reading skills and is tasked with surveilling a dangerous gang as they plot a high-stakes heist. Moulton & Ayling-Ellis are also executive producing the project with Mammoth Screen’s Bryony Arnold and Damien Timmer (Poldark, Victoria), as well as Robert Schildhouse (Towards Zero) and Stephen Nye (Time, Murder Is Easy) for BritBox. Code of Silence will premiere in the UK this Sunday, May 18 on ITV (and ITVX) and will make its U.S. debut later this year on BritBox.
