Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror comedy The Monkey co-written and directed by Osgood Perkins and starring Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Sarah Levy, Christian Convery,Elijah Wood, Colin O’Brien and Rohan Campbell. The film’s original music is composed by Edo Van Breemen (Air, Hollow in the Land, Afflicted, The Backward Class). Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the family drama The Unbreakable Boy written and directed by Jon Gunn and starring Zachary Levi, Meghann Fahy, Jacob Laval and Patricia Heaton. Pancho Burgos-Goizueta (Ordinary Angels, Wheels, Righteous Thieves, People You May Know, God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness, My True Fairytale) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released by Lionsgate Records.
