Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans have been hired to score the upcoming romantic thriller Frank & Lola. The film is written and directed by Matthew Ross and stars Imogen Poots, Michael Shannon, Michael Nyqvist, Justin Long, Rosanna Arquette and Emmanuelle Devos. The movie follows a Las Vegas chef and a promising fashion designer whose love affair is badly derailed when the woman’s past and present demons resurface. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Ant-Man directed by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, Tip “TI” Harris, Wood Harris, Jordi Mollà and Michael Douglas. The film’s original music is composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Elektra, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score and other music from the Marvel Studios production. Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Trainwreck directed by Judd Apatow and written by Amy Schumer who also stars in the movie alongside Bill Hader, LeBron James, Brie Larson, Tilda Swinton, John Cena and Ezra Miller. Jon Brion (Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Punch Drunk Love, The Other Guys) who previously scored Apatow’s This Is 40 has composed the film’s original music. No word yet on a soundtrack release. Trainwreck follows a commitment-averse woman who is trying to get past her self-sabotaging ways. Gabriel Yared Scoring ‘Chocolat’

Gabriel Yared is scoring the upcoming French biographical period drama Chocolat. The film is directed by actor Roschdy Zem and stars Omar Sy, James Thierree and Clothilde Hesme. The movie tells the life story of Padilla, aka Chocolat, who became the first black artist to appear on a French stage in the 19th century and centers around his lifelong friendship with a white artist nicknamed Footit.
