The film is written and directed by Terence Davies (The Deep Blue Sea, The House of Mirth) and stars Agyness Deyn, Peter Mullan and Kevin Guthrie. The movie is based on the classic novel by Lewis Grassic Gibbon and follows a farming family struggling to eke out a living in northeast Scotland. Sol Papadopoulos, Roy Boulter, Nicolas Steil are producing the project. homeward-boundIntrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for Walt Disney Pictures’ 1993 family adventure Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey directed by Duwayne Dunham and starring Robert Hays, Kim Greist, as well as the voices of Michael J. Fox, Don Ameche and Sally Field. The album features the complete original score from the movie composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Rescuers Down Under), including more than half an hour of previously unreleased music. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Night Watch, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and stars Jack Huston as Judah Ben-Hur, Morgan Freeman as Ilderim, Toby Kebbell as Messala, Nazanin Boniadi as Esther and Rodrigo Santoro and as Jesus Christ. Sofia Black D’Elia, Ayelet Zurer, Moises Arias and Pilou Asbæk are co-starring. The movie is based on Lew Wallace’s epic novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of The Christ and follows a falsely accused nobleman who survives years of slavery to take vengeance on his best friend who betrayed him. ‘Extinction’ Soundtrack Announced

extinctionVarese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the post-apocalyptic horror thriller Extinction. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sergio Moure De Oteyza (Cargo, Kidnapped). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 14, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Extinction is directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas and stars Matthew Fox, Jeffrey Donovan, Quinn McColgan, Valeria Vereau and Clara Lago. The movie produced by Jaume Collet-Serra (Non-Stop, Unknown) follows two men and a young girl living in a remote village who remain untouched by a worldwide infection that turns survivors into beasts. the-boyThe details of the soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Boy have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music written by German modern pianist and composer Hauschka. The soundtrack will be released on September 4, 2015 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Boy is written and directed by Craig Macneill and stars Jared Breeze, Rainn Wilson, David Morse, Mike Vogel, Zuleikha Robinson and Bill Sage. The movie is the first part a planned trilogy tracking the childhood of a future serial killer, with each installment depicting the character at a different wage, and ending with his full transformation to an iconic mass murderer. rogue-nationExpected to top the weekend box office is the action thriller Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris. The film’s original music is composed by Joe Kraemer (Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun). Paramount Pictures and La-La Land Records are releasing a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music.
